Okay, so not so funny of a situation really. Keeping all CO DPF members and fellow pin collectors/traders, as well as all people and animals in CO, in my thoughts right now! Colorado has 9 or 10 active wildfires right now. Here in Colorado Springs there is a large 0% contained one on the west and another on the east side not too far from the Springs; there is a third just a shortway northwest of the one to the west! :eek2: With record breaking temps, humidity levels in the single and teen percentages and high winds, hopefully it does not grow too much larger! It is roughly estimated to have consumed 3,600 acres and evacuated roughly 11,000 people in about a day and a half, ugh! Thankfully no structures reported destroyed thus far, nor any injuries! :D Thanks to all those risking their lives to control this fire, tgey are all in our thoughts as well!!! It is amazing how much the community has joined together to help everyone, including pets!!! :D  It is an AWESOME thing to see; people are even opening their homes to evacuees and their families and pets!!! It is extraordinary! :) Please keep Colorado in your thoughts in these next few weeks!!!

I recall the big fires of socal... I could stand outside and every single direction was plumes of smoke.

I am sure we will all keep Colorado residents in our thoughts and prayers.

Absolutely! My prayers and wishes are for everyone in Colorado as well as all of the other places experiencing wildfires right now (some in California too!) ... please be safe and please DON'T wait until the last minute to get out!! And to all my CDF and CAL FIRE buddies ... I'm thinking of you and praying for your safety too! :anxious: *bjr

I hope you're okay and all of the residents of Colorado are okay. I can remember the fires too. They jumped the 91 freeway.

Thank you all! As of right now I am in a safe location! Since we are having so many here they are not reporting on other states, so my thoughts and prayers definitely go out to everyone dealing with this danger!!! They had the big one up north jump a highway and are worried the one here to the west is going to jump US 24; hopefully not though! We will se. What tomorrow brings and thanks again!

Thank you! :) And unfortunately no rain foreseen by the wheather mwn but we all know how that goes, LOL! Everyone RAIN DANCE, Ha Ha! :D I have, I think food poisoning, so I may not be on much today!
