SBW PODM: Which one do YOU prefer?

So currently, I'm pretty into PODMs and most of the time, I know what scene I ultimately want as my grail scene for that series. The one that has me stumped is Steamboat Willie, however. So this week, I finally got the scene that I wanted in the mail. I actually got two of them so I'll be selling/trading one of them.

I decided to keep the one on the right as it was a trade made with a fellow DPF member here

Now, when they were first announcing SBW PODM, I was dead set on getting a scene with Minnie in it (since I really like Minnie) preferably this particular scene (I got my hands on the other scene with Minnie but found that I didn't love it as I thought I would). But when a particular listing came up on the Bay, my boyfriend convinced me otherwise since the scene just seems so perfect!!! But ever since then, I've been kinda regretting it so I decided to just go ahead and get the one with Minnie and maybe when I get them in my hands I'll finally see the light as to which one I should make as my grail scene. But I'm STILL totally stuck between two wonderful scenes even when I have them side by side!

So my question to you is: WHICH ONE DO YOU PREFER?

I prefer Mickey at the helm for sure. But the second one has it's good qualities as well.

I have to say that the whole Mickey and Minnie playing music on animals always felt very cruel and inhumane to me. So, I don't really like those scenes...

I knowwww and that's what I'm doing now but it just bugs me when I can't decide which one I like more or as my grail scene since I'm hoping to frame my PODM pins when I get them and it'll be weird if I have TWO SBW PODM pins in the frame when all the other series is only 1.

I personally would keep the Mickey at the Helm scene mainly because it's like the classic SBW image...I just picture Mickey whistling away and having a good time. However, the other scene is cool because I always like pictures of Mickey and Minnie having fun together and being silly. You have a tough choice!

ok. i voted for at the wheel. but that is based on retrade factor. i do not collect SBW or PODM's..

Personally, I like the other one better because it is "quirky"

I, like the majority of people who already posted, I also have to vote for Mickey at the helm. That is probably the most iconic scene from SBW and it plays before all Disney films (if only he were whistling in that shot). The other one, while quirky, just doesn't look nearly as good to me and honestly looks kind of bland with a plain background

Well.. ideally once I lock it in as my 'grail' scene, I would not re-trade it but yes XD I think it's kinda cute that Mickey and Minine are playing music together even though it's kinda weird since it's a goat... haha

That said, why don't you frame your grail one (the one with Minnie) in the frame and then just frame the iconic Mickey at the wheel one in a small frame by itself?

Thanks for posting your opinion This will really help when it's finally down for me to decide which pin should take the spot light in this collection series!

I guess I'm the only one that voted for the Goat! Before we knew what the scenes were, I wanted the goat. Or Mickey using the cow's teeth as a xylophone.
