The Shop Disney Parks app is now available on Android and iPhone! Happy pin shopping out-of-staters!

They have DCL and some limited edition pins!

Edit: They can help you locate limited edition pins in the resort, which makes it much easier to find!

Interesting with the LE locator. I wonder if this will make the LEs sell out faster now that one has the power to see where they are. Not that I could have gotten it, but the Sleeping Beauty shield is supposedly in Animal Kingdom. When I was at Downtown Disney the Saturday after it had dropped I was told it was sold out and I wound up getting it, at a slight markup, from another source. But... Until blackout ends I couldn't get in to AK anyway. Of course it will be interesting to see how accurate the stock levels are.

As one who has seen the cast version I can tell ya that a LOT of the LEs pins show 'in stock' that I can bet money are not there... So will be interesting to see how that factors into things in the long run.. Theft, damaged merch or mis picked (shirts delivered as pins etc) all would appear 'in inventory'

I know that one time I was told that a pin was in a certain spot, only to go there and have them look it up in the computer to find they had none. Sometimes, intranetwork computers have problems... But I've also been told that they don't put out LE pins that have been returned, you have to ask them directly. So, I would say a good 90%-95% are probably not there.

It will be interesting of they combine the parks and merchandise blogs information on this app. Like a news section.

This. My Mom's last job was Data Maintenance for the Grand Floridian, I have sympathy for any other DMs at the World. She could barely get all the regular tasks done, with this I wonder how much more work it will be for them. If someone orders something from a specific shop, do they pull it from the warehouse or does someone at the store have to pull it, and transfer it somewhere? As a guest, this app is enormously useful. But having also had a look from the other side, it could cause more stress to some overworked and under appreciated staff too.

I figure anything that says "low stock" doesn't actually exist. But I saw the SWW Mystery boxes, in several DHS locations and they didn't say "low stock." I could use a few more, but I don't know if I should send my Dad to look or not. We saw what was available in June, and didn't see them. Hmm.
