Should there be a no tied leader board rule?

So i had an interesting chat with someone and points where made, what I want to know is What do you think? Should there be a new rule forbidding auctions to have tied spots?
In my opinion, by the time you post a leader board you should have had time to think and value each bid and pick from the two by what ever proses you may use. For me I say, if there is a fire and I can only take pin what pin would I take? I know I have posted tied spots but some points have swayed my opinion for me and for future posts.
