Should this pin go on my board?
Hmmm...That doesn't look like Mr. Toad's car to me. That looks like one of the Big City Vehicles you can get a ride in at Tokyo Disney Sea. I bet this is for that. So Gelatoni board IMO.
That pic even has the right pavement!I have this pin. I also collect Gelatoni and Toad, but not anywhere completist in either. But I don't think it is a Toad car. It is one of the Main Street Vehicles in Hong Kong Disneyland (the origin of this pin).

Guaranteed. PinPics stopped being comprehensive, accurate or up to date when they stopped their crowdsourcing from those of us who were major contributors back in the day and kept their info updated and accurate. Now, they're just partly representative of the pins in existence and only partially accurate and not even close to up to date. They will never catch up to the resource they used to be under the prior ownership and public crowdsourcing. So, as most of you are now aware, I am still only 1 pin away from being a Mr. Toad completist. But what if there are others? I already have a couple of legitimate Toad pins that aren’t on pinpics or PTDB. Could there be more?
Is PTDB any better? I might have to get on there.... I still hold at hope for the refurbished PP though that's supposedly coming out sometime soon but they stopped adding most pins because the server was too full and they were losing data and supposedly the new version will fix that but it's still missing....Guaranteed. That probably clinches it. I was really hoping to get Gelatoni on my board since I don't know when they would possibly intersect since Toad's presence right now is limited to DLR except for the restaurant in DLP (which is amazing btw and the decor is incredible). I'll put him with the rest of his friends, but if he magically makes his way onto my Toad board anyway, then who am I to say he couldn't stay?
Awww but I like the Winnie the Pooh ride..... granted I never rode the original but the WtP one is cuteWell...
Disneyland could decide that Duffy and Friends are so popular that they should replace the Toad ride with them. Wouldn't be the first time Disney decided to replace a Toad ride with a Bear. Then the option for cross-overs is endless.
PTDB seems to be better about keeping up with current pins more timely but doesn’t have the historical data that PP has.Is PTDB any better? I might have to get on there.... I think this is it, exactly. Rather than choose, use both sites - but at the same time, take ownership of your pins and find a way to track them independently. Yes, it'll be a pain, but that way you always can know exactly what you have - and you won't be dependent upon site(s) that you may or may not be able to access.PTDB seems to be better about keeping up with current pins more timely but doesn’t have the historical data that PP has.
Between the two there’s a good amount of info but ultimately some will slip through the cracks between them.
