Did anyone attend the Disneyana NFFC Show and Sale this weekend?

Any pictures? Can you let us know if WDI, DEC and DSF attended and what might have
been released

I was there this morning WDI was there released new holiday pins, stitch and lilo valentines day, figment memorial day/presidents day not sure, and one more I didn't look at. Also released villians 3 hats,
 
We were there, too. There was another WDI holiday pin, but I can't recall what it was. They also had a Star Tours mystery set with 2 pins per box. DSF had half of the new Beloved Tales pins (Mary Poppins, Nemo, Fox and Hound and Herbie) and they had a surprise release of a silver pin that says "Hollywood" and the letters are made up of a picture of Stitch. Hard to describe. (Its not in Pin Pics yet.) They had a lot of the BTs, but only 10 or so of the Stitch left.

I have to say DD3 loved it except that WDI only had 1 Tinkerbell pin. In July I'll take DD2 who is much more of a browser and not as focused in her collection so we'll stay longer.
 
The third holiday pin was Figment Groundhog Day pin.
WDI had a special: small pin bag filled with 10 pins for $70.
You could choose the Haunted Mansion or Sorceror Mickey bag.
Each bag was filled with pins for that theme. The HM bag had the 9 metal ghosts and another HM pin. And a golden ticket for a visit to WDI at a future date.
 
WDI - 3 holiday pins, Star Tours Mystery box set (which they are luggage tags), and Villians #3 - the Chaser is Medusa from Rescuers.

DSF - had Beloved Tales and the LE 150 Stitch Surpise Pin.

DEC was there as well . . . didnt have anything new that I saw most of stuff was on sale which was nice.

Another thing I thought was cool was PinPics had a booth and they were photographing pins that needed pics or that were brand new. They invited anyone with pins not on the site yet to bring them by. So site should have quite a few updates tonight. :0)
 
Anyone nab one of those stitch surprise pins? By the time I got there they were long gone. I did however get myself a Beloved Tales Fox and the Hound pin!
 
I went to DSF today around noon & they had plenty of the new Beloved Tales pins & now that I'm reading about it, I'm pretty sure I saw the Stich surprise pin there too if anybody's looking for it. You may want to call first to double check because Im not a Stitch collector, so didnt pay much attention to it, but hearing about it Im pretty sure I saw it today. Darn, I would've picked one up for trading if I knew it was a surprise pin!

I had a great day at the Disneyana con sale yesterday! I found a dealer who had the Shag Haunted Mansion 40th pin set for only $40.00!! The original sticker price was $50.00! I also got a Room for One More event gargoyle lanyard light for the original price of $25.00! And got some WDI ghost pins and both size Haunted Mansion pin bags from Mickey's of Glendale store! It was a good day for me! Who else was there?
 

I'm curious, was the SHAG pin set in a box & did you see many there? Why I'm asking is I'm beginning to wonder if this set has been made into scrappers lately because they are high on my wants, so I check Ebay weekly for them & have for months & there seems to be alot popping up on there for real cheap. Someone's selling the individual pins starting at .99 right now & I'm tempted, but them being sold individually for so cheap makes me suspicious. Hoping Im wrong & if anyone does have these & would like to trade, please PM me. Congrats on your score-I'm jealous! Makes me wish I had gone after all.
 
This was an original set in the box and in mint condition with the original $50.00 price sticker still on the back. If I were you, I'd try to get a box set, not individual pins. It would be real hard to make a convincing looking Disney box if someone was trying to sell a fake. I examined it very well before buying. Was very happy with the dealer. It was the only set I saw at the con.
 
Your set sounds legit to me, congrats on the great score! I think I'll keep searching & hoping I'll find the box set pop up for cheap & will get it then. You did very well at $40, especially since that's less than what they originally went for. I just set up a trade for the SHAG jumbo Fantasyland pin & can't wait to get it/see it since it's one of my grails. Patience does pay off sometimes.
 
I'm not too sure how popular the Shag stuff was...I like the pins Guy picked up, I have a boxed set and a loose set, no decernable difference between the two sets in quality or in backing...Tht goes a long way in determining $ value, and to be honest, mansion stuff has been getting a lot cheaper lately.
