I came all the way to Florida and only get to go to the event Saturday and Sunday, my gf only gets to go Sunday. So are we to do today? No plans, nothing.
I'm thinking of going to the event and pick up my RSP but we have nothing left to the rest of the day. What should I do any suggestions from the gallery?

Have tickets for the park today? If not, if you are staying close to Disney, there is some great shopping at the Prime and Premium outlets and that Mall at the Millennia. You might also think about heading to Downtown Disney. There is a nice movie theatre there in addition to themed shopping. If you can head to the parks, I suggest Animal Kingdom, the animals have been quite active lately.

If you have park tickets go to Hollywood Studios tonight - They are having a Villains event there for Friday the 13th! It's part of limited time magic and it's like the villains taking over the park. I would be going if I wasn't working tonight.

If not then Downtown Disney is always a great option, lots of shopping and dining

Enjoy the parks. Go to Friday the 13th Event over DHS. Go relax in the hotel. Swim or water parks....play miny golf over at WinterWonderland or Fantasia gardens. If you have a car, go over to CityWalk.

If you don't want to waste park tickets, but are on property take the time to visit the neighboring resorts. Each one of the deluxe resorts and medium resorts are nice to just walk through if you have the time. The Boardwalk/Beach club has their own shopping/entertainment area to experience and the Polynesian also has the best view of the MK Fireworks away with music playing on the beach as well as the water parade...

They did the villains thing at the Studios, I have to say, that was the WORST experience I've EVER had at WDW. No organization, little to no crowd control, NONE of the CMs we encountered knew anything at all, all the merchandise was packed into one of the smallest stores there But I did get an AWESOME pair of Maleficent ears.

When we were there in August, I tried trading with a CM in Hollywood Studios. She didn't want to trade me the pin I wanted from her lanyard and she didn't want the pin I was giving her (Oogie Boogie Popcorn Turner). When I said it was Oogie Boogie, she said, "you're giving me a booger pin?" I said he's from Nightmare before Christmas. She said she didn't have time to watch movies and the last one she saw was Ghostbusters. I did trade with her but it was an ordeal. Fortunately, that was the one and only glitch in our 9 day trip

I spoke with 2 DPF members in person Sat night who went to the DLR Villians event & they said it was absolute gridlock in New Orleans Square!!!! It was like that ill fated One More Disney Day in Feb 2012! Checkout the videos & pix on Micechat for full coverage! I'm soooo glad I waited until Sat to go to DLR! It wasn't too crowded at all.
