I’m still going through my crazy vintage pin lot and having a blast. Maybe I’m just terrible at searching this forum lol but Any info on this? So far I have only found two “vintage scrappers” in this lot (sedesma pins) but this one is very different. Google lens only shows one for sale on Mercari/Ebay but I’d love to know more about it.

It says Monogram Products Inc on the bag. Is this just a really old Scapper type pin too? Mickey Pin

Monogram is a licensed maker of Disney pins.

I did a search on eBay, which led to this listing on PinPics:

and this listing on My Pin Central

It is not on Pin Trading Database or Pin&Pop

Sedesma was a licensee in Spain. I think there actually were fakes that lacked the proper backstamps. However, mostly they were super cheap and flooded the lanyards like fakes do now. When the supply of Sedesma pins dried up, that’s when the true scrappers and counterfeits started coming in from China.

Monogram is a past and current licensee that sells authentic pins in tourist venues (not the stores on 192 that sell fakes). If you go into a Walmart or Target near the parks, there will be a section of shirts, keychains, beach towels, etc. This is where you will find Monogram pins. In the years they weren’t a licensee, a similar company called Jerry Leigh filled this gap.
