We have confirmed dates to share today for next year’s Star Wars Weekends at Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park. The galactic fun begins on May 18 and will run through June 10. And of course the centerpiece of the experience will be our 3-D Star Tours – The Adventures Continue attraction that debuted this summer. Here are the weekends:
2012 Star Wars Weekend Dates
  • May 18-20
  • May 25-27
  • June 1-3
  • June 8-10
Star Wars Weekends is an annual event that celebrates the Star Wars film saga and the hit animated TV series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. During the celebration, we host special shows, presentations and offer some pretty cool memorabilia. From experience, you need to be there for the first weekend, if you want the LE Star War Weekends pins. This past May the popup Star Wars Weekend store opened earlier than announced, and the LE Star Tours pins were sold out before noon on the first day.

They had most of the pins on the frst weekend in June. The only one not there was the jumbo.
 
There were 2 passholder pins this year. The Star Tours Opening Day Passholder pin sold out pretty fast. The other was the SWW Darth Maul passholder pin.

I think we had the same set of cast members on the second weekend. I asked about most of the pins there, and they basically told me they were all sold out. What made it worse was hearing stories about how people were getting the pins that I was looking for on the 3rd weekend. I guess it never hurts to ask around and see if you can get a different answer from another cast member.
