Might be old news but Disney announced in an Orlando newspaper article that there will be no more SWW's going forward, 2015 was the last year. Also, this is the last year for the Osborne lights at the Studios.

Since I have been to almost all of the SWW's since 2000, the change was inevitable with the new construction that is going to happen - but it is sad never the less. From a "pin point of view" SWW always had a very nice selection and it was helpful to an East Coast collector to have something regional/local to Trade with our West Coast friends.

The Osborne lights, if you have never seen them, are just spectacular - very, very, sad to see them go. We spend hours going to the Lights and just standing around seeing the people smile and the awe in the eyes of the kids is amazing. Pins - always a very nice selection and good Traders. Again, the Lights are subject to the construction projects. Hopefully Disney will move them somewhere else, it will be a shame to let them just die away.

I saw the lights last year, very cool!
There were also hidden Mickey's to be found within the lights at that time (or always?), my friend and her sister did that, but me and the other person in our group didn't bother, lol.
 
Ahh, the Osborne Festival of Lights is one of my favorite things during the Holidays at WDW, I imagine the show was entirely dependent on the backdrop. Is that gone for good or being moved elsewhere?
 
It is hard to believe that Team Orlando spent all that money to convert the actual lighting fixtures to LED and then to just junk them. When the Disney Springs construction is finally finished, may be they can be used there?
 
I'm also hoping they get moved to Disney Springs next year. This was one of our favorite memories from our honeymoon trip and our first anniversary. Timing hasn't worked out for us to go back an see them in over 5 years though. Hope I'll get to see them somewhere else someday.
