Since the increase in postage costs etc could people maybe put in the auction listing if they are willing to send international or not as I had one where the person won mine but preferred to ship inside US and not internationally and for the likes of bigger items, for example the 9inch UP Vinylmation, I would like to bid but over a certain shipping price I would hate to either be told not going ahead die to postage costs OR be asked to foot the remainder of the postage over a given amount.

These are just thoughts I would see if anyone agrees with it or not. Just I know some people are not comfortable sending internationally anymore and thought Id see if its an idea to use or to not use XD

*Please note, Vinyl Auction was used for reference only NOT what I suggest has been said by auctioneer*

I believe DPF rules require that auctions be open to all members of the forum.

You can't prevent the auctioneer from considering shipping costs when assessing the bids, but once someone has won I don't think the auctioneer can then say that (s)he does not want to ship internationally.

If an auctioneer does not want to ship international, they can simply choose a different winner. The auctions are personal preference. They must be open to all members for bidding, but theres no rule saying the auctioneer cannot take bidders location into account for the winner.

However, if the person auctioning has an issue with shipping international, i certainly hope they are not bidding on auctions being run by out of country people.

For me, regardless of where the bidder is, if the pins are good enough, i will merrily pay the shipping.
