My daughter and I attended the Disney Pins Blog and Disney Cruise Planners pin trading event yesterday. It was our first pin trading event and we met a lot of nice people. We have only been pin trading for one year so we don't have a lot of LE pins to trade but we were able to make some nice HM and mystery pin trades. Towards the end of the event, I was wondering to myself if I would attend another event only due to the fact that we have few pins to trade. Well, that was about the time of the raffle drawings. I bought one raffle ticket for the Big Prize table and my daughter wanted to put it in the Super Jumbo Toy Story drawing. Lo and behold she won it! The nice gentleman who donated the pin came over and spoke to us. After all that, my daughter asked when the next pin trading event is. :)

Congrats! I think that pin is at the Soda Fountain available for purchase at a ridiculous price tag. I'm glad you had fun at your first pin trading event! :D

Congratulations on the raffle win :)
As for traders for the next event , it sounds like you did OK this time with HM and mystery pins so why not stick with those , they aren't too hard to get for reasonable amounts and if you have fun trading them that's all that really matters .
 
Congrats on that big win! It's really an impressive pin in person, I admire it when I go to DSF.
