Hi guys!!

Last April I picked up some pins on my trip to Disneyland Paris. Since they've been displayed on a lanyard on a hook on my wall. Now I've decided to expand my collection I was taking a closer look at them and it appears they are a getting a bit tarnished, a bit on the front and a fair bit on the back.

Now I think it's because of the environment in the little room we rent (we've had mould issues) and we're moving in a few weeks so that's not a worry, but how can I restore these pins to their shiny glory as when I purchased them? Is there a best way to clean them?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Char

I'm not sure about the front of the pin since I don't know what could ruin the paint but I have a post somewhere on cleaning the back of pins.

If you find that post, I'd be very interested in reading it. Several pins I've received in trades could use some cleaning on the back.

It's just where there's metal in the design on the front, not the enamel, no it looks much like the metal on the back. A gentle rub with water helped a lot but it's not perfect.
I didn't find that post. If you find the link I'd love to read it.
