There's so Much, Where Do I Start?

With so many post, I feel like I fell into the middle of a conversation and don't know where to start!
HELP!:cry:
For the inexperienced, like me, where does the newbie go to slowly get a grasp on what's gong on.
Everything is so overwhelming . . .

Visit the faq's and guides sub forum. It will help you understand much of what goes on, and how. If you are not a "local" to the parks, then most of your trading and interaction regarding pin trading is going to occur here.

Do you have a pinpics account? It is a free database that we all utilize. www.pinpics.com
Everyone here will be thrilled to help you out and answer questions as you go.

Well, rather than worry about the threads and understanding them at this point, I'd get familiar with the pins and what you're going to focus on, there. So like Psycho Pixie said, set up a Pinpics account, look through the old pins, get an idea of what to put on your "Wants" list, etc. You can attach your Pinpics info under your avatar here (you'll see the links under my Jess pic).

Understanding what we're blabbing about will come in time. Definitely read the FAQ and terminology sections so you understand the abbreviations and such.

Finally, don't get discouraged if there's nothing going on you're interested in. Sometimes, the board is full of topics I have no interest in, and other times, there are tons of relevant posts. It cycles around again.

The first place I'd recommend visiting is the Forum Rules and Guides section of the forum. Just click on Forum and you'll see it listed. And be sure to set up your Pinpics account so everyone can see what pins you have and what pins you want.

just go to your profile and it will direct you to what you need to do,also check refs when you buy/sell/trade...thats the most important thing.Ask as many ??'s as you like,we are all here to help you

Welcome to the group!! For me, I found that going into the Game Room and having fun was a great way to make me feel more comfortable with no pressure. You might try that. Good luck!!

I also spent a lot of time on pinpics before ever joining a forum. It might help to look over pins without other people's opinions influencing what interests you.

I think I would also recommend looking around dizpins.com, as well as the informational sections of this site.
