Tic-Toc....How long do you wait for a response????

How long do you all wait for someone to respond to a pin trade before you free that pin up to trade with someone else????

I'm a very patient person, and don't mind waiting, I was just wondering what the etiquette was on this.

If the agreement has not been confirmed, I do first-come-first-serve approach.

I do what Dyma does and sometimes 24 hours after I recieve the request,if I accept it..then I wait and write them back to see if they still wanna trade
then if I do not hear back..the pin is for trade again!

I give them 5 days to respond.

Assuming that you are asking about an "accepted Trade". I wait 3 days, if I don't hear from anyone I send an e-mail asking "if Trade is still on" stating that if I don't hear back by (fill in the date), I assume that the Trade is null and off.

NOTE: I don't know whats going on but recently I have had an unusual number of Traders "offering" to do a Trade, I accept and NEVER hear back from them? Also, THEY contact ME for a Trade, I accept, and then they say the "Trade is not fair/equal" in their eyes!! Hey YOU contacted ME!! lol

I recently had a situation where a traders responses were going into my online spam box, I came across them by accident, I dont usually view my mail online. I got their first email, but not their subsequent one's, which is strange! I was writing "I havent heard from you, is trade still on", they were answering, but I wasnt getting the mail. It does make me wonder if I have missed other trades in the past because of a similar situation!
