First of all I know this aint about a pin talk but is about trading right? well anyway


So I was thinking the other day of just not trading at all!! and just move on. I will just buy what I'm left
This means no future trading nights for me to anyone that goes to Mydpins event. I'll come for that to chat otherwise I need to move on from trading. I simply thank you for getting to know me maybe even trade with me... I guess this means i will sell off my stitch pins and some Tangled.. That's right I am going to be picky with Tangled from now on but also still collect the frog and BTMRR

If you ask will i stick around? not sure who knows i might only i'll knowand of course time. but all in all it's been fun these past 5 years for me. Yours truly pauly, P.S watch out for my sale board too and Mods you guys are great...

Yup me too. Sadly. There are people that I have encountered while pin trading that made it less enjoyable. Plus I can't afford all the pins coming out at the moment.

Hey Pauly, you are a great guy. It's good to take a break sometimes. I've been taking a break a bit too. Life gets a bit busy and crazy and other priorities, well take priority once in a while.

We hope to see you at the My D Pins Trading Event coming up soon. You know, overall, I really love pin collectors / traders! We have made some good friends through this forum. Hope to see you there. :)

And, I really need to update my signature. LOL!

I can completely understand about needing a break. Sometimes we all do and it's hard to make the decision. I hope you change your mind about pin trading. I tried to quit about two years ago and took off about 6 months, but was glad after the break that I didn't sell or trade away my pins. Not collecting left a hole in my life and this is a great hobby. I've just learn to not buy, but trade and to stay home and away from the parks where I'm tempted to spend money. So think about it carefully before you sell your pins. You just might live to regret it.
 
Our best to you Pauly! We all need a change of pace once in awhile. We enjoy our conversations, so please do seek us out for idle chit chat when visiting the park or PTN's. And your mom is the best too!
 
yes, this surprises me too! will miss y'all. Hope a short break makes you want to get back into active pin trading...

Hey Judy. No one is forcing me to leave. Like I said to Vicki I just need to focus on school. I don't really have much time to be coming by and posting and also my season pass to Disneyland expired last month so I have no idea when I will be back there. I have just gotten back into pin trading after a looong hiatus - it was really good to take a break. One can get burned out from even the happiest of hobbies :) The only time I did any trading was in the parks, about once every 1.5-2yrs.

I do regret not checking in every once in a while, though! I did not even know that the Dizpins boards had shut down! Talk about being out of the loop :)

^^ It's only been a year since dizpins has been gone but i know the feeling you can get outdated when you're not thinking about it..
 
I know I didn't get to know you that well pauly, but you were always very kind to me and I will miss you .
On another note : I'm in the same vote though, I sold most of my pins because of the recent passing of my beloved kitten and two stints in the hospital, has forced me to sell most of my collection . I did keep some favorites, but will no longer be trading . I'm just going to buy what I like now .
Of course, when I go to the parks, I'll wear my lanyard and trade, but that will be it .
 
Aww, I didn't get to know you very well, but you were one of the firsts to ask me for a friends request and it made me feel really welcome here. :) I've got to take a break from pins, too. I've got other things to save for at the moment, so pins have to be put on hold. Sometimes it's best to step back for awhile!
 
As I said not good that you're giving it up though I am also glad you're keeping some nice pins.
