I was trading at wdw during Thanksgiving week and I came across this pin as a mystery cast member pin that seems to be to good to be true. Does anyone have any insight on this pin and if it may be real? I have a photo but not sure how to do this since I am new to the threads. I believe it is the Tomorrow Land LE 200 1964 pin.

Side note: I must say I was shocked at the amount of fake (scrapper pins) in the park!

One good way is to check Pinpics or other pin trading databases to see if there are any known scrappers or instances of mass reproductions floating around. From what I can see, there's no known counterfeits (http://pinpics.com/pinMT.php?pin=111823&keyw=tomorrowland+1964) but it wouldn't hurt to post photos of your pin to see if any members who own the pin can help you compare.

Welcome to the forums!

It does list LE 200 on the back and I have checked it against pinpics but sometimes it's hard to compare against those pics due to photos not showing color correct or bad photo quality. How do I post a photo of the pin?

You can post a photo one of two ways: Either by using the tapatalk app where you can upload a photo directly from your camera roll, or by posting the image on a photo sharing website (photo bucket, tumblr) and copying the image url. After that, while replying you click the icon that box with the tree in it (look to the right of the past the globes, but before the movie roll) and paste the url into that box. Then you should be able to upload the photo!

You are also allotted a small amount of image sharing space with your profile on this website (check your profile settings), but I find it a lot easier to just use the photo sharing website.

Whoa! How lucky are you?!?! It's a cool pin and to get any limited edition pin from a Cast Lanyard that's not a fake is amazing. Congrats!

You can't post through Tapatalk until you've been here a bit longer (pictures that is).

You'll need to host it on a free photo imaging website (Flickr, Photobucket, IMGR, etc.) and then copy & paste the IMG url onto here.

Probably a fake. I picked one up a few weeks ago off a WDW CM lanyard and have seen several since. Highly unlikely such a low LE would repeatedly show up on CM lanyards, unless it's a fake. Sorry.

Cool pin, but like luvsimba said it's most likely fake. An LE that low on a cast member is unlikely, but to see it more than once confirms it being fake.
