I've been expecting some pins from France for a trade that was competed mid July. They received my pins but mine have yet to arrive. I was given tracking info but I'm unable to really pull anything up. Plugged the tracking info into USPS with no results.

I was wondering if there's another site I should be attempting to track the package from?

If they gave you the tracking code for France the USPS site wouldn't work. You would need to plug it in here: http://www.laposte.fr/
The near the top is says SUIVRE, that is for the tracking code. You put in your code and click Valider. Then it should come up with another page mentioning your package and click on it. It should have a run down of all the places it's been scanned.
I live in France and ship with tracking all the time. I've been told that when a package changes countries they are given a new tracking code in that country. But I don't know how that really works. What you'd be concerned with is what the link I shared is telling you about the code you were given.

When I trade/sell I try to always give them the direct link to where they can watch their package being delivered.

Have you contacted the trader to mention it's not shown up yet?

I think the latest a shipment showed up from me was 2 months once but that package didn't have tracking on it and that was a few years ago.
 
You could also try packagetrackr.com
It will auto detect the system the number went through and give you the tracking with a map.
Usually when i get things from Europe the code will start out only working on packagetrackr or the origin postal service's site.
Once it goes through customs it usually starts working on USPS.

Also remember when things are going internationally they do get held up in customs sometimes. I've had things (not just pins) go through customs in a few hours to as long as a few weeks.
