Hi,

I made a trade with a person on here a few weeks ago. Turns out the pin I got is a complete counterfeit. (most likely unintended... but still...) I sent a PM, but the person is not using the website for whatever reason.

Should I send an email?

What do I do I don't want to be rude?

IMO, there is nothing wrong with sending a politely worded email whenever you have a problem with a trade. If for some reason the person doesn't respond within a timely manner (and you've sent a few politely worded emails trying to get this situation sorted), I would quietly ask the moderators for help. After all, that's part of the reason why they're here and you might be amazed how quickly a moderator will get a response when you won't.
