Trade offer opinions please

Hi all! I need some advice on a trade offer that I received.

The trader would like my Designer Mulan and Shang. Its in perfect condition.
In return he would give a pin i want for a zap which is an LE750, and his only other trader I sort of like is a Rajah PTD. However (and the trader has been lovely and very honest about this) the Rajah has some 'pits' in the paintwork.

This doesn't bother me completely but my general plan was for the Rajah to become my new trader as it seems desirable enough and it is a low LE. I am worried the pits will make it difficult to trade. The Designer pin is my most asked about and highest value trader, possibly my only chance to trade for a Lion King grail one day. I dont particularly want to throw that opportunity away. What should I do?

I think you already answered your question yourself. I wouldn't do it. I know dips in PTD are pretty normal but it's still a quality flaw and you seem to hope to find some LK pins for it. Plus, I've seen sold items on Ebay and the designer sells for more than Rajah.

I think you shouldn't do it. I think you pretty much ansewered the question yourself, by the fact you even ask this. Probably I would have done the same thing, and I'm certainly not saying you can't ask this. But posting this means makes it sound like you have doubts about it. If the trade doesn't feel right, just don't, you don't want to regret it afterwards

I would not do that. I am giving up a bunch more then that with the sweet person I am getting my Mulan/Shang pin from. I just don't think you are getting enough in return and the fact you have questions about it mean you will probably be second guessing yourself for quite a while. Unless you are the kind of person that once a trade is made you move on and don't have second thoughts, pass on it.

Thanks all .. I plucked up my courage to politely decline xD I don't think i will buy another high price pin for trading, it's too stressful

I'm glad you declined to do the trade. I, too, had a pin that a lot of people wanted from me. I held off trading it since I didn't feel comfortable with the trade offers. I was so glad because I was able to trade it along with 2 other pins I had for a LE50 pin that had become a holy grail for me.
