depends on what you are looking for. It still pops up on ebay for $50-60 bin
I tend to never auction a trader if I have some specific want(s) in mind. So example, I really want to trade for Tangled, I wouldn't auction because there are non-Tangled pins on my wants list and people still bid what they want. Their intentions are good because they want to win the auction but I don't want to be left disappointed with it either (because you HAVE to choose a winner and all that).
I'd do just a trade if you really want something specific, and an auction if you just want to have fun.
