I know that my local (soon to be closed) Disney store doesn't do this, but can you trade pins with cast members at the big store in London? I've heard a couple people saying you can. I'm off there for a few days for my birthday in a few weeks and I'm wondering if I should bother taking my lanyard with me?

Yes you can I do when I'm in London Oxford street store does and Covent garden store as well but you will have to ask to see them as they are kept in drawer behind the till sometimes they have a cast member wearing a lanyard by the front door don't get your hopes up through as I found a lot of scrapers on there hope this helps

Shiobhain is on the uk disney pins facebook forum Sarah, you should message her, shes so sweet and looks after the pin trading in Oxfords store She'd be happy to help, I know it!

Thanks yes I remember they had a couple pins for sale when I went in the summer. I got my first ever disney pin. Wasn't much aware of the trading thing then. Maybe I will put my lanyard in my bag just incase

I was in the Oxford Street store on Thursday and the only pins they had were the London ones (95289), they are at the back of the store in amongst all the rest of the London branded merchandise. The cast member at the front door was wearing a lanyard, I only had a quick look as I hadn't bought any traders with me but it was mostly full of hidden mickeys. All the cast members I spoke to were lovely and interested in pins, I chatted with the girl at the till for a while about upcoming Disneystore.co.uk releases.

I'm going to London on Thursday/Friday to sort out my US visa, it's sad that they don't sell many pins :c! I'm probably going to get a London pin for trading when I go to wdw, not too bothered about one for myself haha!

lol jennisney that's exactly why I was in London last Thursday to get my US visa good luck at the embassy!! I mostly bought the London pin for trading at WDW at £3 each they aren't too bad for traders at all!!

Aw, I like that pin its different from the one I got last year. I will pick one up if they still have them I will take a lanyard of traders with me too.

the cast member at the till told me that they usually get a new pin each time they get a re-branding of the London merchandise, so I guess that means we should all hope for re-branding more often!

nope but that would be awesome, I work at a summer camp in the Adirondacks. Are you off to WDW?

Soo I have just got home from a great weekend in London. Did my first ever pin trade face to face with the cast member at the door. here is is.... Not the most sought after pin or anything but I thought it was cute and it shall remain on my board as a special one to me

Thats awesome Ive done a couple of trades in the, stores, im only about 40 mins away from london

I remember my local store used to do it all the time (Romford) and they also used to in Lakeside and Bluewater. This was when they first properly started selling uk pins, which must have been 4ish years ago
