So, I got a box today from Disney store that should have held my D23 train set but...there was only one pin! It was Stitch if you are wondering. How dissapointing is that. I guess the new location won't be any more accurate than the old. Sheesh!! So I have to wait for them to receive the return and send the correct pins. It will be a while before I get this set. If it sells out before I get it I won't be happy! Not to mention that a couple of the pins have been co-oped. What a mess!
 
Do they INSIST they must have single pin back before they'll ship the set? Once yrs ago, they did a similar thing to me. They shipped the set right away & sent me a "post paid" shipping label for the return. Of course, that WAS a while ago.
 
Happened to me too (last year actually) and I didn't have to return the pin, they did the "donate it to charity" routine. My replacement was mailed out right away.
 
This has happened to me before too. They would usually ship another one out right away and say to donate. However a couple of times when I had to return the item because of their $ limit threshold they told me they put one on hold for me so that when they got the return there was no worry of it being sold out. I could see the item being held when I would look up my order history and it would just show not shipped until they got the return back and then they shipped it out.
 
Seriously....it takes them well over a week to ship out anything and they can't get the order right.....uggghhh! I'm still waiting for my train set(s) as well, plus now two other outstanding orders.....
 
We have 4 outstanding orders. I spent 30 minutes on the phone last night (after I read this post) with a call center manger. Interesting fact I learned last night: Since they moved the warehouse call center
managers can no longer call the fullfilment center directly all they can do is send an email.
Today I will be contacting the Disney Presidental Customer Support Services.
 
Got some good news tonight. I missed the UPS guy who was supposed to pick up the pin for return. I called DS and asked if I would need to pay for the return shipping if I dropped the pin off at the UPS store. The customer service rep India said that they would issue an "no cost replacement" for me and I would not have to return the single pin I received. So, I WILL get the set. Now its just a matter of waiting for it to arrive. YAY!!!:hsd::hsd::hsd:

Now one thing thats strange India said that standard shipping is now 10-12 business days. That is omething I had never heard before. Maybe Memphis will be slower? Or is it a way to save money on their end? Not sure...still glad that it will be resolved.
 
I spoke to them earlier this week and they told me that the 10-12 day standard shipping is temporary while they transition and then they should go back to the previous 5-7 days. However, I ordered pins on Monday the 25th...and they are still in a holding pattern.....so they aren't even meeting the 10-12 day turn around. I'm seriously disappointed in them at the moment. I don't know how they will have the semi-annual pin sale, when it takes two weeks to ship things out now. I'm sure glad I didn't order anything for a gift. At this rate it will take a month from the order date for the pins to arrive.
