I have an unexpected baby on the way in the next two months, not to mention the holidays. I have been trying to sell my pins but im getting no where, even on here no one replies, I need to make money Ive sold everything else I have. and my family is really tight on money so any help would be appreciated.

I dont know what to lower them to and the site wont allow me to take offers, well that is what I have been told. I have actually been collecting for quite some time, these are just ones i thought would bring in good money being Tinkerbell.

Do you feel some are over priced? I used ebay to gather prices.

Yes, if you have prices, but say you can make an offer lower than what is posted and I will consider, then technically you have a price, but it is flexible.

Also try bumping your thread ;)

Unfortunately I think your prices may be a bit too high. :( This one for example:

Pin 29670: Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival 2004 - Pumbaa & Timon (Annual Passholder/3D)
$30

You are asking $30 for it but you can buy it right now off eBay for $10. eBay is a good guide and some pins you might be able to get a decent amount for, but a lot of them you might be lucky to get cost. :(

Pictures are also very key. A lot of you pins are a little older and people probably aren't as familiar with them and are unlikely to look each and every one up.

This is also just a very tough time to be selling right now. People don't have the extra money and aren't buying so prices on most pins just aren't very high.

Yea that thread is actually older, but I get what you mean about money being tight. and some of my prices being high. Some of them though are like impossible to find on ebay, like the tinkerbell set.

This is very important, at least it is to me as a buyer! I shop the sales thread everyday and I just don't have time to look up each individual pin on pinpics. If there aren't pictures or pinpics links I usually won't bother. If that's too much of a hassle to do links, you can do like SimbaNala does and create a pinpics list and refer to the list. That works well.

Just my 2 cents.

I dont know how to do the list thing, but I can do links for sure (this is a shared household laptop and id rather not clutter it up with hundreds of pictures)

I agree with Mom24k9 . Too much like work ! When I see just numbers, that turns me off right away .
well that wouldnt have been good to know like...forever ago LOL. I will be posting all my stuff tomorrow WITH links and the option to offer reasonably if they feel it is too high or a price.

I never saw your post before . pLus I've been in and out of the hospital for 2 weeks and now after $1,000.00 I have to put my 2 year old cat to sleep tomorrow . So what I sold, is going toward his bill . For example , I had a Tinkerbell witch pin , a rack pin, nothing special, but it was , can bring $70.00 on ebay now , I sold it to a member for $30 or $35 and I felt bad selling it that high .
We all have our problems and need money, but we are in a bad economy and can't rake people over the coals with such high prices . Just my 2 cents !

I actually read your post, i just gave up two of my own cats today :/ but believe me I know. I dont want to ask an arm and a leg for them i just want enough to get what I need for the baby supplies I need. I am due in December.

I wish i could help you sweetie ! I love Tinkerbell too and you have gorgeous Tink pins, its just my hands are tied . I wish i could help you . You know how it is , hospital co pays, doctors, prescriptions , then this cat that they told my husband is only 2 years old and try to save him . My husband has a huge heart, but they never kept us informed . Well they did after the transfusion he was like a cat on steroids and I was told he would make it . Two days goes by, nothing , I come home from hospital yesterday and call only to be told he's not producing red blood cells . Like why put us through that , one day he was making it , the next day not, then he's doing good again until today , he's not going to make it . call at 11 tomorrow morning . My other cat Toby is looking for him crying Maw Maw in every room . I said to my hubby that we are taking Toby along so he will know . He'll be able to mourn then , but know he's not coming back . These pets become like your children . Why can't they just die, why do we have to make these sad, sad decisions . My heart is breaking and I did not mean to sound like I had an attitude . Because I am certainly not that way . There are a lot of wonderful members on this forum that will help you in anyway they can . Much luck to you !

I agree with both issues numbers dont work I create a list when I sell, however I also agree your prices are very high I understand the issues however if you want quick monday then they have to come down. You need tog et udner ebay prices for this to work for you

Maybe you can try grouping your pins into small lots based on themes or characters. Take pics and price each lot.

Also, for low cost baby supplies, try your local craigslist. Sometimes you can get really cheap gently used clothes etc. In our CL, I even see requests for donations. These are tough times, and people often reach out to one another.

Best of luck.
