If you have get one pin, that has two themes and therefore fits into two of your collections, how do you decide which collection to put it into?

That's a great question!! I have mulled that over myself... I put it in whichever is the more "main" collection... For instance my main collection is Beauty and the Beast, and I have a side collection of villains. So, when I get a pin that is of Gaston alone, it would go with the BatB pins.

If its a Snow White pin, it will go in my main Snow White collection. Otherwise it goes into the collection it fits most with. The only exception I have for that is the one pin I have of Snow White, Cinderella, and Aurora together. I put that with my Cinderella collection since I wanted my Snow White collection to solely be Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs. I do have a couple of Snow White/WDW in my Snow White collection but its of her old ride there.

I do what Dalamara said... I would put it in my main collection. I have a pin that is Stitch interrupting Lady and the Tramp's spaghetti dinner and I have it in my Lady and the Tramp collection because that is my main collection. But when I have all of my pins on my display board, that pin in at the bottom of the Lady and the Tramp area closest to the Stitch pins I have (Only like 3, so it isn't really a "collection")

Cats rule, they are my primary collection. Anything with a cat (and yes I will get 2 of the hidden mickeys or mystery sets if they have a cat) goes with the rest of my pride. I also collect holidays (think Halloween)- which is the main conflict

That's what I was going to say too!

Me too...

If it was too expensive and rare to get two, it would go into my main collection (if it belonged). If it didn't belong in my main collection, probably would go into a character-specific collection first, movie collection second, holiday/event third in order of importance for me.

Haha, too bad I'm poor
Welcome to pin collecting lol.

Good question though. Mostly one of the two themes is a bit more noticable than the other theme (if that makes sense) so I put it with that theme. Example, I have Lilo&Stitch as Beauty and the Beast. It fits more into my 'Stitch dressed as other characters' collection than my BATB collection. But yup, sometimes I try to find two.
