U.S. postage to go up after the 27th

Today I went to mail out some stuff at the post office to find out that postage is on the rise.

I live in Canada and mailed out three letters and the woman said something about stamps changing or something but I don't think it cost anymore than usual.

EDIT: Just checked my receipt and 3 letters (going to the States) cost $1.05 each ($3.15 total) and then $.05 cents each for Insects stamps or something ($.15 total) which came to $3.30 and then $.43 cents tax for a total of $3.73.

Normally, letters to the US cost $1.10 each so it is essentially the same thing as before.

I recommend printing shipping labels from paypal. It is cheaper than doing it at the post office.

Call me a dolt but ... I never knew how to do that. My big hang up is...you have to weigh the envelope/package first right? Because it asks for a weight. I don't have a scale or anything to measure weight Is that needed...?

Scales are give or take $20 depending on where you purchase them. They save me loads of time since I don't have to go to the PO AND I get free DC#'s the only problem is that you can't send international orders that way
