US Drop Point for UK charity event!

Hey everyone,

Since the increase in postage from the US and Ireland people backed out from wanting to send a donation which is understandable as I have received a few single pins for myself and the postage for the 1 pin has been $9-$10 so I'd most likely feel the same way lol

And since we are only getting a few we are looking at this to be our last year BUT if this works we might be able to hold this again next year.

DOODLEBUG86 has kindly offered to be a drop point for our charity event. So if you would like to donate a single pin to our event but dont want to have the overcharged postal charges then you can now donate a pin but send it to DOODLEBUG86. I will ask for their address and see if it ok to post it in here.

All they ask is you inlude just $1 inside the package so that will go towards the overall postage cost for the amount of pins they will be sending (if any lol)

If this works out for the better, we should be able to carry on with this Charity event rather than cut its lifespan short.

Are you still interested in Vinylmations? I found about 8 of the Create Your Own blank vinyls when I thought I could do some customizing. Time and talent never came and they remain unopened :lol:

I dont know how many have taken up Doodlebug86 offer for a drop point in the US, but I thought I would bump this back up to see if anyone else would like to send a donation. Anything Disney related, plushies, toys, pins, vinylmations etc.

Disclaimer - I do not expect amazing pins as donations, what you donate is entirely up to you!! We no not mind if its OE, Rack, LE or Limited Release or if the wants vs trades are backwards. Its all up to you.

Only think I ask no pins with scrapper warnings.

It's in mid-October so I believe the packages have to be with doodlebug no later than 9/30 so that she has time to ship them off to the UK.

wow. bit of a time crunch. OK. can someone explain the event again? I know vaguely - I've donated before - but a "refresher" would be helpful and may spur some new interest.

hey guys, thanks for the interest. i'm afraid I shipped everything out at the end of August to allow for delays in the post. If you're interested in sending stuff, you'll have to send it directly to Sitch2814.


I will also add that the turn out wasn't bad! There were something like 10 vinyls, a Ltd Ed Popcorn variant, and around 7 or 8 pins. So thanks to everyone that sent me something. And super thanks to anyone who added extra cash in for postage.

Yes the event is 19th October but any further donations are more than welcome to be send direct to the UK! Hopefully we can raise even more money than last year!
