USPS rate increase again for mailing LBE's

Evidently there has been another rate increase for mailing LBE's. Was about $2.32 a few days ago, now is $2.54 but Tracking is now "included". I believe Tracking was more than 0.22 cents under the old structure but I could be wrong.

Either way it make it harder and harder to do single pin Trades via the mails nowadays.

When I mailed a pin via Paypal multi-order shipping, I noticed an increase too. It was $2.04 when previously it had been $1.93. I had been out of the trading loop for so long, I wasn't sure how recent the increase happened.

The exact same happened to me last week. I had to change the shipping weight to make sure it wasn't just an error. :/
 
The change went to effect June 1st.

As someone who chooses to always mail in person, I saw an overall reduction in postage because I had been being charged $1.05 for tracking.
 
Definitely like the $2.54 better than $3.37.

I have been using PayPal for the lesser cost shipping, but now I am shipping out of a new post office, I am not sure that they will provide me a prepaid mail acceptance receipt and scan the packages in right away.
 
This really annoys me that people on here are moaning about the price increase this happens to us people in the UK as well ours is even more expensive than yours is in the first place but we just get on with it and are still prepare to trade with people if your not happy with the cost don't trade with us international then I just find it odd that if there is a pin that's released that they really want then they don't moan about the price then this is not a dig at any one its just my thoughts on this
 
Yeah, actually, this is a benefit for in-person mailers. Given all the low-number-of-pin trades I've made over the last couple years, this would have saved me about a hundred dollars or so!
 
Post isn't really about trading/not trading Internationally in any way or form. I have been trading with overseas traders for years and continue to do so. Just mentioning about a price increase here in the States.

Hi Damien, this post is more about the postage rates going up to send stuff inside the US. It seems like every time we turn around they are upping the postal rates and the service just seems to get worse and worse. The other day we had 4 pieces of mail and only 1 of them was actually for us, the other 3 all had different addresses on them. I wonder if somebody else received our mail.

Congratulations to those who are saving money. I can't stand going to the post office, most of the people behind the counters in both of our post offices are either really slow or just don't care. Which is why I print my postage at home now. The other day Amy took 10 packages to the post office and instead of scanning them into the system, the idiot who scanned them, scanned them as delivered to a postal box in Seattle. So now I have to hope all of the packages arrive safely.
 
I don't really feel like this is about complaining about the price increase, as much as giving everybody a "heads-up" to know that these prices have increased. I guess I don't really trade much via mail anymore so I sure didn't notice it. I'll probably notice it the most on the shipping costs when I buy pins on eBay.
 
International (USA to other countries) has also "quietly" increased. I say quietly, b/c I didn't hear anything in advance. It was $6.55, and now it is $7.10 for up to 2 oz.
 
USPS domestically has an approach which is why they keep playing with the prices and overall the outcome that we get to see in it can be reasonably compared when we see to other companies. UPS is also having a higher price chart. FedEx can be fine with it and better then DHL. Those that ships regularly gets bothered by these prices which is why having a permanent reasonable source is always helpful.
 
The prices have again increased this month, but I would note that the cutoff for First Class has increased as well. So for large trades, or traders of other collectibles (such as Funko Pop), this could actually represent a savings on average. Most of my Pop shipments fall within that 14-16 oz range which limits one to Priority.
 

So what's the new weight on First Class?

Same here.

It's a given the postal rates will go up every single year. A postal employee, I know at my local office, said years ago we can count on a yearly increase from now on. And so far, unfortunately, she was right.
