Please help me choose the order I auction these PODM pins. I was going to wait till the new year and run my game. Unfortunately the game hasn't taken off yet.

I will leave this open till Saturday and then post the top pick auction on Sunday.

It's an idiom, referring to "keeping your resources stocked and in good condition." Literal reference is to gunpowder which needed to be dry in order to properly ignite. Pretty important thing when you are heading into battle.

Reference to your auctions, is that he sees a scene he would really like, but used his good traders to win previous auctions, and now is worried about having the fire power to win another. Perhaps it would have been better to have not bid and saved the pins for another auction.
 
Exactly. I'm glad I won the last Bambi auction and will be getting that pin, and I usually don't care what the scene is, I'm just trying to get one of each movie. But man, it's hard to imagine a better Bambi scene for me. Plus, since it doesn't have Bambi in it, I might have gotten it "cheaper". Oh well.
