Hey all,

New here and have a question.

So at disney land they have the trading tables close to westwood trading where people come and setup their pin boards and binders for trading. I know there is a lot of concerns about the ethics of those people and as many have said there are good folks and not so good folks. I fortunately have been armed with lots of reserach from forums like this and the might internet.

However here is my actual question..

Is there a place similar to this in WDW . I know about all the trading locations and the cast lanyards being back, and plan to do some trading with them, but was curious if something similar exist in WDW.

Every time I go I always pick a set to try and complete while we are in the parks and last time in Disneyland I was able to complete two sets because of those folks actively looking to trade.

PS side question I always find it difficult to trade with other guest in the park, is this frowned on and I am missing something or any tips on that would be great!

Thanks,
Seth

Dedicated guest trading at WDW is less common, but it does happen. Even though DLR has strict rules, the existence of rules allow guests and CMs both to operate productively. At WDW, it seems like it comes down to what managers are on duty as to what is permitted where, and as a result fewer guests bother with it.

That said, the places I know guests trade

Magic Kingdom Frontierland - outside Trading Post

Hollywood Studios - Sid Cahuenga’s

Epcot - Inside and outside around the new Festival Building. It is festival season so I don’t know if that means that CMs are running off the pin traders more frequently.

I think @Randakinskywalker has a good idea about when people setup in Frontierland.
