[h=2]WDW PTN Contemporary 1/27 .......[/h]
Not sure if you were one of the guests this last friday night at the Contemporary, but if there was ANY QUESTION about Disney Pin Trading or Disney Vinylmation Trading, well it is the best I have seen it in almost 5-6 years!!!! Looked like old times at the Polynesian

Any old timers know what I am talking about.

I took pictures and will try to upload them! So if there was any question in Disney's mind to ADD more PTN's for the guests at WDW!!! The answer is a HUGE "YES"!!!!

There sincerely was not enough room for all the guests! They really should have opened another wall to accomodate the turn out for the first 2012 PTN in WDW!!!!! It was great to see!!!!!

Had a great time, made some great trades, Disney even had artists with lanyards on trading with guests for some very special little surprises! Ours was an AP!!!! another great edition to the night. They also had the preview area.

The only thing we wished is that they would of been selling the new Animation Mystery pins and had more of the new 2012 Hidden Mickey pins available to trade for.

The 2012 Sorcerer PTN pin sold out before the night was over!!!!!
WELL DONE DISNEY!!!!!! Looking forward to March 2, 2012!!!!

I was there! It was my first PTN but luckily I was able to meetup with some friend DPF'ers so they could show me the ropes. Also made some new friends that are not DPF'ers and did encourage them to join up and drink the DPF kool aid. I do agree that there was not enough room...my personal opinion is that they need either a bigger room or to give the Vinyl people their own VTN. I am already looking forward to the next one in March and this pretty much sold me on registering and attending the pin event in September!

I was there and it was such a hugh crowd. It was great to see so many people trading pins. I hope they give us a bit more room in March. This was the first time I sat down to trade instead of walking and it was so much better. If someone had pins I needed it would have been better still. But I made some good trades that helped out some of my friends.

I definitely benefited from this!!!

It was so much fun hanging out with everyone. We definitely have a big DPF group going now. I wish we had taken a pic to post. I made a bunch of fun trades and added some great Pluto and Snow White pins to my collection. I was even able to trade for some Wall E pins for my son. They are very hard to find. A lot of people were trading the new HM's. I'm always so surprised at how generous some people are.

I'm looking forward to the next event and praying we are in a larger room this time!

My wife and I attended. I had the "portable pin table" (corkboard) that I went around showing everyone.

Lots of people there... too many people were taking up too much real estate at the tables. Saw one vinyl trader with about 8 foot of table for only about 4 dozen vinyls. They really need to work something out. I was glad I brought the cork board-- it helped me to be mobile and work the trades I needed.

I was there and met up with the DPFs! Had a great time. But is was seriously HOT in that room and crowded. My only thing about separating pins/vinyls is that a lot of us do both. And some people will trade pins for vinyls and vice versa. I do think they should limit a person to how much table space they can have.

I made some fun trades, got a cast member chaser out of the vinyl black box and a PP pin from Florida Project LE 250 off a cast member.

Can't wait til March!

Yeah, it was WILD. As I've said in other threads, I almost left. Mostly because I was going to sit and set-up (for once), and that went right out the window when all of Florida showed up! LOL! It was kinda hot and difficult to get around with a cart, so I wasn't sure how to get anything done.

But after I hit the shop upstairs and came back down again, I found a small part of the wall and plunked down...and actually did okay, trade-wise!

And after the PTN was over was tons of fun, too, so it was well worth the trip!
