Im going through my pins, trying to find more to sell to afford this vacation for my mom
And I was debating if I wanted to sell my Pin 29706: Disney Auctions (P.I.N.S.) - Stitch with Devils
While looking at the description on PP, I saw there were some DLRP versions.

Found out mine is pin 39921, not what I had paid for last year D:
Guess that makes it easier when trying to decide what grails to sell, since this one isn't quite the grail I wanted -.-

Well that sucks. I hope this at least will make you smile?

This is not the grail your looking for...

Move along.

Yeah, that is one beef that I have about pins....they create SO MANY of the "same" pin, but one is from DLP and is 1/68th of a inch smaller then the one from DLHK, and the one from DL is an OE, but the one released from the DSF has some glitter in the enamel and is an LE of 300, therefore making the cost 400% more in the after market.

I remember when I first joined the forum that I saw a Rapunzel pin in someones signature that I thought for sure was a rack pin (but I didn't know what a rack pin was at the time, at that point in my naive career as a pin trader I thought all pins were created equal) and I was SO happy to private message the person that I was going to WDW the next week and I could help her get her "grail" pin while I was there...but she got back to me explaining that while the pins look the same, the one in her signature was a limited edition of 100 and nearly impossible to get. Boy of boy did THAT open my eyes!

This is something I've been discovering too! I bought a lovely Oliver and Company pin, Disney Store Exclusive, LE 750. Then found that it's the exact same image as on the Oliver and Company Beloved Tales. In a way, I feel annoyed as it means my pin isn't quite as special as I thought, but then again, it means I don't want the BT as much as I would have done and considering the price of them, it's probably just as well!

A lot of the pins I see that feature Rapunzel are her in the same pose, I don't quite get why people are so keen to have them all. I don't understand why there aren't really any of her post-haircut either (but then I also think that about the Rapunzels at the parks, wouldn't a short wig be much easier for the cast members?).

I'm sorry you found out this way, it does suck. But look on the bright side - at least you did find out, and now you might not feel so sad about selling it :).
