I was inventorying my pins before I bought more and it became too daunting and when I tried to put in a few from UK Disney Store the dates didn't match on the card it said 2009 and on pinpics/pinplace it said 2010 there is also no date on the back of the pin I personally bought them off of ebay so I have no idea but now they don't fit anywhere since the table for my inventory is in date order :S

Sometimes the UK pins released in January, will have the year before on the backing card, as of course the pin would have been manufactured before the beginning of the year. However, the sku number is more important, did you check if those match?

Its reasonable for the locket series to be on 2009 cards, as the first one came out Dec 2009 and the later ones early in Jan 2010. As I said earlier the SKU number is the deciding factor. However the Black Cauldron Sword pin came out in May 2010, so not that one. 200 of the sword pins came on shields, someone could have broken up a set and just put it on any card. Equally so, many people take their pins off the backing card to display, so when they sell them on later, they dont always go back onto the original backing card.
