I just got back from DLR and I had a goal to get some pins that I would be able to trade. As a full time college student and working part time I don't have a lot of money to spend but I love pin trading. I spent some money and ended up getting pins that I wanted. For an example I got the opening day Little Mermaid pin and Star Tours pin. I didn't get doubles and I don't want to trade them away. I probably have a total of 8 or so pins that I can trade as you can see but they aren't good pins like what everyone else wants. I feel that maybe I should give up because I can't drop a lot of money on pins. What do I have to do to start trading? I guess I just need some kind of hope. Haha. :hsd:

i know how you feel i have two kids a baby and a tween and work construction and my wife part time at macys needless to say we dont have a lot of money either i got some good pins from bricklayer and those were cheaper than buying them off the rack with that and just looking for good deals on ebay you can end up with some stuff that people want without breaking the bank .!!!!!!!but dont buy lots on ebay!!!!!!!!!!

HOPE: pin collections are built over time. I suggest you watch disneystore.com for sales and try to buy extras when they have pins on sale. When a pin is on sale the price is posted in red and they usually the mark the price down to $6.99. For example this morning they reposted the Dug Tron Pin for $6.99 and my husband would have traded you for that pin. Also jump on to the Pin It Forward game and you will have a chance to receive a cool mystery pin from a new friend from far away.

We started with just two crazy lanyards and just had fun. We were so happy with anything we received and allowed our tastes to grow over time. DON’T GIVEUP…your answer was in your post have HOPE.
