THIS. Haunted Mansion/Phantom Manor makes me happy too; they are and will always be the best rides in any Disney theme park. My opinion will not be swayed! Ahahaha!
 
Right now I stick to Ursula. She's been my favorite villain since I was little. I love the character, I love the way they animate her, I love her attitude, I love the voice acting. She's just my favorite!
 
My main collection is Tinkerbell, Ive always loved faires! Its just the magic of them! lol Tink was also the first pin I ever bought!

But I pretty much collcet anything, If I like it I collect it! lol
 
I collect a little bit of everything. Overall I collect things that temind me of my college program tenure. Main Street was awesome...
 
I originally started collecting Maleficent, but I was overwhelmed by how difficult it was to obtain pins I liked. So then I started by collecting pins I liked from movies that had meaning to me and I noticed they all had backgrounds of the night sky. I've decided to go with that theme, looking for other pins with night sky backgrounds and I prefer ones where the background has a bit of sparkle to it.
 

That is so sweet! I think it is absolutely worthwhile to bring some extra goodies for kids because I know, all they see is stuff they want and can't have! Sometimes they get all grumpy because of that hehe!

what i collect and why:

HoND: Because Esmeralda is sexy, Achilles the horse is awesome and i am too poor to collect Tangled.

Horses: Because I grew up with them, and since I cannot own a REAL horse right now. pins will work. This collection is my closest and truest love. The horses shall never leave my hands. I would sell the rest of my collection in an instant if it meant keeping my family safe and healthy. but the Horses... NEVER.

Dragons: Born in the year of the Dragon. 'Nuf said.

Thumper: because who doesnt love that cute bunny? Actually i collect him because of clover. The comment he makes about clover is just the cutest thing EVER.

Pixie hollow: possibly the best set of strait to DVD movies Disney has created. The books are darn good too! The story lines are cute, even if there are a few inconsistencies.

Purple TinkerBell stuff: yeah, Purple backgrounds, heavy purple accents... THOSE are the tinkers I keep for myself. Which is wierd cuz my fav color is green. Maybe i do it because i cannot afford Tangled, which has lots of purple, and a blonde featured character?

Witch tinkerBell: because well... its tink as a WITCH. Come on!!!!


I collect for my girls: Lead female characters, Tinker Bell with sassy comments on them, Winnie the Pooh, princesses.
 
For my baby girl I get, marie and eve pins with there name on, pins with march or aries on (they have to be girly or sparkly though. And I'm after the year of the snake pin and the dsf jessica march 2013 pin.

For myself its funny because what I thought I'd go for I haven't. I LOVE Jasmine and Rapunzel but as I have them as dolls. I tought I'd collect other characters (although I'd love a few of both princesses one day) I've gone for...

Jessica - omg she's gorgeous. I love her pins because she just ooozes charm and class while being hot. I have 2 pins so far but I love them so much.

Periwinkle - I love winter and winter themes. She's flawless. I have the dlp pin and I think its so dainty and delicate. Its a really beautiful pin and I love the movie. I'm hoping to collect Elsa from Frozen for the same reason.

Lastly I'd love a Vanellope and Taffy collection bur the prices are just out of reach. One day though.
 
My main collection is Up. (I'm no where near a completist as most Up pins are just too far out of my price range.) I absolutely adore the movie. I relate to Russell and my Grandpa, who was (and still is) my best friend as a kid, looks just like Carl - happy Carl.

My second main collection is Brother Bear. I don't know why, really. I just love Koda.

I also collect characters that I love: Charlotte LaBouff (I'm a Lottie completist!), Kronk (one pin away from a completist), Burrito from the 3 Caballeros, Junior the elephant from the Jungle Book, Gaston, Zurg and Bambino from La Luna. There are more, but you get the idea.

My oldest daughter collects Tigger and Ariel
My oldest son collects Goofy, Wall-e and XR
My youngest son collects Buzz Lightyear
My youngest daughter doesn't know what she likes just yet but we unofficially collect Princess Dot pins for her (we call her "Bug")

Yeah, our collections are all over the place. I'd like to collect Humphrey pins but there are only a couple that I like.
 
My main collection is simba as a cub or adult. I just love the movie and simba is soo darn cute. My other small collection is ariel. I dont collect all ariel pins im very picky with those.
 
My main collections are Duffy and Stitch. I love all things Japanese Duffy (not so much the American version) and started pin trading in order to get all the Duffy hat pins. It's been a slippery slope since! Stitch and Halloween/Autumn pins are my other favorite. Other than that, I love Haunted Mansion pins and anything clever involving characters dressed like other characters or cast members (I love pins with characters in the Haunted Mansion maid/butler costumes).
