I have a book that I put cork board in and I've put all my traders in..
but I have a lot of pins on the cards that I don't know where to hold them.
I've seen a lot of people with a pages of clear sleeves they can put those into.. What are those called or where can I get them?

Probably going to have to buy another book to put all my keepers in too

Hi! I used to keep my pins in binders, but as the collection grew, it was harder to sort through. I still have some keepers in binders, but most of them are sorted into photo boxes by categories until I get to framing them. I think most hobby stores have the binder pages with pockets, typically for sports cards.
Good luck!

Ah sports card binders.. Didn't think of that!
Thanks I will check that out

My traders are in pin bags and my keepers are either in frames or I also have a huge glass door cork lockable display case that I keep them in.

How important is it to have the card the pin was on when it was purchased? I kept all of them, but now, I have so many, I cant figure out what pin went on what backer card.
TIA for any help!

Depends on the trader. Some only want the pin of it comes with the card. I used to be like that, but now if its for my personal collection and I know it won't be traded out I'm not fussed about the card. Only exception is boxed pins. I like the cards/ box for those.

For my trader I like to have them on the card just because it appeals to people more and they want them more
The pins for my personal collection I usually take them off the card, but keep them just in case.

Great question and liking the answers. At this point, I'm still trying to figure out what I want to put in this Disneyland book/folder that I have with no way to put cork board behind it.

I use hinged shadow boxes available from a local art/framing store for my pin Displays

And I usually put my traders in a pin book with the plastic sleeves that allow you to leave the pins on the cards

The Book is available at most pin locations at DL ... The pics are of the outside and inside of the same book ... the second pic is the inside of the book.

I'm not sure if its available online ... but most likely e-bay

Okay I will check it out.
I've never been to DL we always go to WDW.

I'm not close to the parks, and I checked the Disney Store and Ebay and can't find that bag/book anywhere on the net. Can someone close to either park get one for me?
TIA! Andrea

We found our book like this at Downtown Disney Pin traders in WDW. It works great for pins on cards. It is the best we have found so far.

I use the actual Disney pin bags for my keepers (sans the cards which I box separately) and I use zip close notebooks with plastic baseball card holders for my traders. Some of the cards for my traders are larger than the baseball card holders, so I use the plastic photograph holder pages that can accomodate up to 5 x 7's, or a plastic full-page protector that is 8-1/2 x 11. There are also coin collecting plastic pages that accomodate smaller pins/cards. Now is a good time to pick up the zip close notebooks as school supplies are going on sale

For LE pins i put them in the baseball card sheets in a binder on their cards, and if they do not have cards i use a piece of card stock and write edition size on top, for OEs i use the disney pin bags and try to organize by character. No cards.

i heard that if you put your pins on cork for long periods of time it can ruin the pin post. Not sure if this is true.
I keep my collection in a pin bag without the cards, and don't put anything behind it. Now that my bag is full, I have started using the old cards I had from pins in the bag and put new pins on the cards and used bubble wrap to keep them in, until I get another book.

I hope that's not true because that's what all my keepers are in right now.. :/
I like the cork better than nothing behind the page because you can fit more and take them off and on a lot easier, but if it ruins the posts it may not be worth it.
