I have a pin that has PP on the back. What does that mean? Is the pin more valuable??? Any help would be great!

This is the pin I found: Pin 81245: Mystery Collection - Disney-Pixar Shorts - One Man Band (Gold Logo Chaser) ONLY

Yes, PP means Pre-Production prototype. It's one of a handful of pins made before the Artist Proofs (AP) are released. Sometimes there are differences between the PP and the final release pin, like color or elements like glitter.

APs and PPs of park pins generally have a value about 10-15% higher than whatever the regular version is worth. But not a lot of people collect them. I think they're nice to have.

Maybe someone here knows, I have an old Rocketeer helmet pin, we'll two actually. One we bought, it has "Graphitti" on the back. The other has "Disney" on the back and the green on the eye is visibly darker. We were told it was a prototype given to the person we got it from (the late owner of Golden Apple in LA). Any ideas? This would be, what, the 1980s sometime?

Graphitti was a Collectibles producer. They published all sorts of books and figurines. Most likely the helmet pin was produced to go with their other Rocketeer merchandise

Yes, they had the license for Rocketeer pins at that time. But this one pin in NOT Graphitti; it says “Disney.” That’s why we suspect it was a prototype. Of course, no information exists.
