Am I crazy? I am thinking there used to be two pin trading events per year at WDW....one in Feb/March? and one in August? Did they do away with the earlier one?

I think at one of them, a bunch of the mystery pins from games were AP jumbo vinylmation pins which my boys collect but I'm trying to figure out which event that was. HELP!

The last non-sept Event I think was the 'Love' Event at Epcot at Wonders which was a couple of years ago right after Duffy was released.. 2009/2010?

I believe they had a ton of the mystery jumbo vinyls as one of the 'games' and it had the boards where you had to have a voucher (yet the lines were still 30+ min long) and they had a 'dessert buffet'

Personally I didn't like the event till the very end when I pulled 2 'OMG Grails' off the board. A PP that was never released of Apollo 11 and a really old rack pin I'd never seen for trade (but wanted)

I miss the smaller pin events- I would love a DAK event :)

THANKS for the update, I knew I wasn't loosing my mind. I hate that they did away with this event. Was it just not well attended??

No problem :)

I think for awhile pins wasn't as popular (mainly due to the recession when discresionary spending was low to non existent) so the events didn't sell out and people who went didn't buy EVERYTHING they could so lots of pins sat and sat on the shelves and so didnt trade as high value wise (so then people bought less at the next event..) I think the tides are turning a bit with lots of new traders with money to spend so hopefully disney will capture that- I'm really curious for the Sept Pin Event as I (hope) it sells well to the point they add more events..
