What is the best trading experience you've ever had?

Hey guys!
So, I was trading in the parks the other day and had the best trading experience! This little girl came up to me and said, "Excuse, ma'am (I'm not even 18), I would like to trade for that pin you have (Jessie "Damselle" Pin)." It was the cutest thing! Now, I have a couple of those, so, naturally, I just HAD to trade with her! She was so sweet. She even said I could choose any pin I wanted from he lanyard. I asked her which one she would choose. She said the "A for Ariel" pin, so that's the one I chose, even though I have a lot. I am never trading that specific pin! She was so cute, and she came up all by herself! She was maybe 5. So, now that I'm done talking about myself, what is the best trading experience you've ever had? I can't wait to hear your responses!

Yes, this is ad nauseam for those of you who have been around the boards for awhile, but for the newbies:

Shortly after my divorce one of my pinpics trades went bad and the trader wrote apologizing that he was in the middle of a divorce; we commiserated and chatted, and chatted some more. Flash forward, ta da, we've now been dating for four years. :suspect: I still wonder if he moved from PA to be closer to me, or my pins?!

I think Coach and I may be the only 'pin-mance' made through Pinpics thus far, but it's been four years of sharing a pinbook romance.

Wow! that's something new! Actually, that's how i imagine finding my husband. aha. It'll most likely end up that way or i won't marry anyone cuz they have better pins than me. lol

Lovely story! I love the JDS Ariel A Letter too - I have been lucky to have 2-3 in my short time of pin trading

My best pin trade was a Winnie The Pooh Pin that I picked up for 25p (it was a classic Pooh) it was mint on card and small. I managed to trade it on to a Pooh Collector for this pin --> LE 250 & mint on card.

That was the best trade ever

It was the third year I was pin trading and we were down at Disneyland for our annual trip. It was the first time I had a pin bag. I met this great lady and we sat down and just started trading pins hand over fist. By the time we were done we had made 46 trades. Since I was still fairly new to trading and I didn't know about pinpics at the time it was fantastic. I kept finding pins in her bag and she just kept choosing pins from my bag.

Now whenever we go down to Disneyland you can usually find me at the tables pissing off the regulars because I trade so easy with people. I try to be like that great lady who really made my trip fun. I had one person who was at the same table with me pack up his stuff because he didn't want to trade like I was. Worked out great for me, I had more room.

When are you coming back, docfish2u? I want a friendly trader at the tables!!

Probably March or April. We always upgrade to annual passes while we are down there so the next years admission is already paid for.

I will be sure to post when we are heading down. I am not hard to miss.
