Just curious and confused...not trying to be confrontational...but how is it being "trade lazy" for a recipient to not want to scan through 1700 different requests when all the sender does is hits the TA for everything that matches on the wants/trades list? Shouldn't the effort come from both sides to come up with a fair trade?
Let's face it, we are all different. If we weren't things would be pretty boring. If some prefer to trade one way and others another, it doesn't make either one wrong...just different! Hopefully we can respect each other's differences and not let them get in the way of enjoying a common hobby.
I wasn't saying a lot of time should be spent scanning the email. It would only take 20-30 seconds to look at the pins being offered and the pins being requested to determin if you would be interested or not. If the are offering a bunch of hidden mickies and asking for LE 100s then it is an obvious pass. But if some pins start catching your eye....then I would be worth jumping to Pinpics and comparing you lists with theirs. They are obviously interested in trading, so if you are interested too, why not put an offer together and see what happens? Putting an offer together is much easier when you can openly communicate and aren't confined by the TA.
By "trade lazy" I mean the people that say they are interested but expect you to do all the work putting an offer together, don't give you any idea of their preferences, and then when you do give them an offer they just say "no" with no explanation or counteroffer. I don't really see that circumstance as a "to each their own" difference, I just see that as rude and disrespectful of the other person's time.
