OK, I know this is a loaded question, as not everyone collects every pin, etc, but this pin seems a Catch-22

[pinpics]27068[/pinpics]: WDW Executive meeting award gift pin -Sorcerer Mickey

Let me explain what I mean by Catch-22. It is an Open Edition pin, which sells/sold for $5 (I do not know if it is still sold). To me, the reason I also consider it a limited pin is due to it's PinPics description:

It is available to any convention or group booking at Walt Disney World. The pins cost the groups $5 each.

So basically unless your group/convention books there, and your group bought the pins, they are not available for just people in the park. For the first time since collecting, I got a bite on a trade, but I do not know how to value the pin. The only "Evil Bay" auction has it sold at $225 in July, but that does not seem right. The person came back with a list of 4 pins, one of which I offered to begin with, and wants me to make an offer. I offered [pinpics]73491[/pinpics]: DisneyStore.com - Seven Dwarfs Costumed Chip an' Dale Pin, an LE 250 goes for average $35-$40.

Is that too low, just right, too high, etc?

Thx

Anytime I see a pin that has only been listed once in viewing history and then turns around has has 3+ listed BIN for 75% plus of the one sold listing, my radar antenna's are up. Unless it is a well known pin I think someone is trying to pull something. Chances are it is worth it, but chances also are someone has had a shill bidding scheme to overvalue some pins they want to offload.
