could someone please fill me in on what the big secret is with the marquee pins lately. i have had several of them for years and nobody seemed interested in them. now over the past couple months im getting requests for them everyday! especially for the marquee underdog pin!! im getting trade offers for this pin from all over the globe!! please someone out there tell me what is up with this pin!! needless to say i hate to trade it and find out later it was a grail pin. every trader knows what its like to live with "pin trade regret syndrome"
i appreciate any help my fellow traders can give me.

They are hot pins right now my friend. If you have them do your research and make sure you know what your pin values are. Tangled, UP, WALLE all hot pins. So check with some DPF people and ask what they think of the trade or even jump in chat we can give our opinions but if you have certain Marquee pins they are gold. :) Good luck with trading. Underdog sold for $92!! That's just crazy, I bought mine for $12.99 maybe 3 months ago. Marquee's are exploding in popularity. I think it's all the new traders that are going to DSF, it seemed to really spike after 3 things happened. 1. The Lady & The Tramp marquee that was sold along with the DSF Up Valentines day was sold out the day of, and has been going for $50+ every since. 2. Up marquee was listed on eBay and sold for $511, sometime in March/April. 3. The Avengers came out and that was the first marquee that sold for $80-$100 the day of. Now the marquee's have new collectors scrambling to get as many of the ~90+ marquee's that exist. The Brave was instantly a $100+. Luckily I think the August marquee's, Cinderella and Tinker Bell will not be quite that high. Maybe $50 for Cinderella and $35 for Tinker Bell. We'll see. But the marquee's values have certainly gone up. I'm glad I got my 70+ before the craze.

Frankenweenie wont' be too terrible. If they do another NBC, which they will, it will probably be overnight just because it will be an event and other NBC pins. I don't care for any of those though, just the marquee. Then we get Wreck-it-ralph which I think it will be a sleeper hit but in the long run will be like Wild Hogs or Eight below marquees that hover between $20 and $30 forever on ebay. With the video game angle, it may be more popular though.
 
I traded my tangled marquee my maximus DSF pin and a tangled PODM pin for a incredible Snow white PODM, I had no clue what I had, I just bought them at the DSF when I went and saw Tangled there, I had them sitting in a blank pin page, I wanted the Snow White PODM pin bad so I traded all 3 for the scene, I felt I paid regular price for them and the Snow White PODM was expensive, I wanted to make it fair, then when I went to take it down off my owns on pinpics I saw.........WOW! but thats ok, im happy with my trade, but man I wish I had bought two when I was there and bought the one! And I remember thinking should I buy a second on to trade, lol, I always do that.

You probably could have gotten all of last years PODM for those 3 pins. I would have made that trade in a heart beat
