I won an Auction and sent my pin right away got the persons pin and now they say my pin has not turned up, I know these things happen and I ve asked them to wait for another week (that is not a problem I have a receipt but no tracking number) just wondered what people do in this case as its quite upsetting if people think you have not sent it!! on top of that I am full of the flu this sucks!!
 
I have been having some issues like this as well. currently I have 11 "transactions" either through auction, sale threads, or games that I am waiting for delivery on. 3 of them are at about 3 weeks "old" with me waiting. One I have been waiting for over a month. I have sent PM's, tried to be patient....but my pins and or money has been sent. I TOTALLY understand that life gets in the way and this board isn't the end all-be all to life....but have the common courtesy to at least send a PM with an update, you know? Its starting to make me not want to be as involved as I have been.

Yeah I would if it did not cost around £8 from the UK for one pin its not worth it I can only afford to send it with multi trades unfortunately may have to do multi trades only lol
 
I didnt even think about international shipping and tracking
Yeah it can get quite expensive unfortunately
 
Stacey - I forgot about sending my auction trade, but fortunately it's only going to be one day later (tomorrow instead of today).

I wonder if there should be a change to the rules that the winner of the auction should mail first? Kind of like if you paid cash, you'd have to send money first before receiving the item?
 
I'm just wondering how much time has passed between the mailing and expected receiving. I guess I would start worrying after 30 days.

This is not really pin related, but I order music and videos from various places around the world and it seems that items shipping into the United States is taking longer than it used to. The last item was a Blu-Ray of a concert from Japan and it took nearly 20 days to arrive at my door. Sort of the same situation with tracking though, it costs a lot to get international tracking. So there is nothing to track except that it was shipped on so and so day from Japan.
 


I feel the shipping to you guys in the USA is taking longer than it is for the pins to get to me with this particular pin it was posted on 20th december so it is along time but I think its early yet
 
tracking for international packages is costly. all i ask for is that the person lets me know they sent it. I am sure they have a reciept to show me if needed. With the recent holidays, loads of international packages are getting slowed down in transit. Also certain countries take longer. While a package is in country of origin, it can be tracked, but once it starts the overseas trip... it may as well be in unicornland until it arrives.

USA to UK under normal mailing times is about 7-14 days. but with the holidays it can take much longer. 3-6 weeks maybe?

I looked up the shipment from Japan: The in-country tracking said it shipped on the 7th of December. I actually got it on the 24th. So it took about three weeks to get it and that was without any holidays in the mix. I think you are probably still on track for your pin to arrive in the US without the delay of any holidays. May want to add a couple of days to account for Christmas and New Year. I think you are still good for a normal arrival time, in my opinion.
 
Hmmm....Well I sent a pin for a winning auction, and I never received the pin I won. This is from October. The Mods know about it and I am sure they are looking into it, but it is frsutrating.

This person has not been on here in a while, so I am not sure what the issue is with them. Hoping nothing bad happened, as the pins involved were maybe $30 each, nothing too bad, but sheesh. I would have liked to have gotten my winning auction pin. :-(

Shipping to US from UK and vice versa is def taking longer at the moment. I sent a pin to CA 20 Dec still not arrived, they posted to me on 24 Dec and not arrived.

I am not worried at the moment
 
I would say give it a little longer, the mail is all over the place right now and even before Christmas I've had pins take 6 weeks to arrive. It's the standard pin trading mantra, be patient and the pin will arrive with you.
 
The mail is nuts still. I shipped a pin over seas and it took about two weeks. The person there sent it and it took close to a month to receive. The anticipation is what kills me. I have only one bad trade so far and the mods are looking into now. Shipped a pin out begging of November they received it in 3 days. Still two months later I am still waiting. I still have hope but it is a little fustrating. Like what was stated before just send a note letting those know your running late. I for one understand life gets in the way. It is a hobby and even though I go through withdrawals at times knowing something is coming still makes me feel like it is Christmas morning.

My pins have arrived !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

they were posted 31 December from FL , 2 January from CO and 3 January from CA
