Where, and what, to look for at Tokyo Disneyland/DisneySea

[FONT=Helvetica, Arial, Verdana, sans-serif]The BF is on his way to Japan for work right now. He's going to have freetime, and will be spending most-if not all- of it at Tokyo Disneyland/DisneySea. He's asking me if there are any pins I'd want/what to look for/where to look, but I don't know because I've never been and don't know much about the place.

Any ideas or suggestions?

I don't know but I'd like any Star Tours pins. I have seen a few they released for the grand re-opening there. From what I hear there isn't much but I think there are 2 members on here that live? in Japan. Try searching and I'm sure you'll find their names.

You can try asking tokyodisneydad. He lives in Japan and finds the coolest things to trade on here.

Tell him to go to the Duffy store at DisneySea and be amazed at all the different Duffys there are. Then find Shellie May too!

If its pins you are looking for... The Main Emporium store in TDL will have a small rack... Maybe 15-20 pins on it. Also the small store at the exit of POTC will have some. The selections are really limited. In TDS there are several stores that have a few... TOT ... Sleepy Whale in Mermaid Lagoon... and the main store under Miracosta. A few others can be spotted depending on the celebration at the time. Scrooge Mcducks and Aunt Polly's is where the Duffy and Shellie Mae stuff can be found. Also the game booths in Arabian cost have prize pins if u lose the game and they are only 500yen.
The resort hotels also carry some in their gift shops. Outside the park Bon Voyage near Maihama station has a small selection of pins and a large variety of other park goods.
Just don't be surprised at the lack of pins here. We get nice ones but they are few and far between.
There are also Japan Disney Stores but they RARELY have pins anymore.

What part of Japan will he be in and I can check the location of the nearest JDS.

TokyoDisneyDad showed up before I could even message him, haha.

He'll be staying in Tokyo during his trip, and I think he may even be at one of the hotels right by the park for some of the time.

From my understanding, he is so much more popular out there

Closest JDS is either...Maihama....Ikebukuro....or Shinjuku. Maihama is the largest of the three.
