Where to buy pins at WDW? HELP?

Hello fellow addicts, I will be at WDW on the 22nd and have a massive list complied of people hoping to get pins at cost. I plan to go to Epcot on the 22nd so I'm looking for places to purchase pins either there or along the way there. I am staying close to Epcot so a trip the other way would kinda suck but I can move plans around if I had to shop at MK or DTD.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated and if you haven't contacted me about pins at cost and would like me to add you to the list feel free to let me know your wish list! I will not ask for payment until I have already made your purchase and will charge the exact shipping only!

Pretty much any gift shop will have pins, and there is lots of overlap with the OE pins.

Where are you staying? Resort gift shops will have some to many, depending upon the shop (probably not LE pins, but OE pins).

At Epcot, between spaceship earth (the golfball) and the fountains there is a pin shop, and the Mousegears store also has lots of pins.

There is also a pin cart between Canada and England that we have found some LE pins.

If you are looking for LE pins, your best bet will be pintraders at DTD, though we found more LE, passholder,DVD pins at the Island Merchantile store in Animal Kingdom, and the cart outside it compared to the other parks (not the newest LE pins, but the previous 2 months perfume bottles, the new fantasyland passholder pins, and something else, I forgot what now....)
 
When I was at WDW, the shops by Spaceship Earth mentioned above by lynn99, seemed to have a lot of the special release pins. They had leftover Imagination Gala sets there. I also saw them put out the Eau De Magique release at that stand and didn't see it elsewhere in the park. I know the Frontier Trading Post (by Country Bear Jamboree) in the Magic Kingdom is where all the LE Halloween Party pins were sold. That was also the only place selling them in the park, so that seems like a hub the LE/LR pins.

Folks more familiar with the Florida parks can correct me if I'm wrong.

In MK, the frontierland store
In Epcot, the pin tent
In AK the Island Merchantile
In HS under the hat (though not sure where that will be moved to now.....)

Oh- I don't know if its still going on, but sometimes if you eat early at a quick service restaurant, you get a coupon for 20% shopping before 1pm - its not good at the small pin stores/pintraders, but if you are getting OE pins its good at each parks main store (Emporium, Mousegears, WOD at DTD, not sure for HS, and I think the merchantiles store at AK). The coupon is usually good for a week? 10 days?
 
I was able to pick up the LE Parfum at the store in Frontierland (the Outpost?). However, if you want
to do all your shopping in one easy place, there is a store in Downtown Disney that has tons of
pins.
 
When my friend picked me up a few pins during his trip to WDW, he had the best luck with DTD Pin Traders. He said that there were all kinds of LEs, Mystery Boxes, boards (I assume that was the board you take a pin/leave a pin), etc.. He said he saw a lot of the same OEs around the various parks, but DTD had the biggest selection. Makes sense, though I am only going by what I was told. Can't wait to see it for myself hopefully within the next couple of years!
 
Thanks for all the tips! What I will be looking for specifically are the LE pins being released on the 22nd, BATB,FROZEN and Lady and the Tramp I think.

I would like to get them at Epcot if possible as our plans are set up to do MK on Friday but as I said I am trying to help a lot of people so I might have to go to go to both.

When I was there at Christmas we went around to a bunch of different resorts. At pop century they had a large glass display of past months LE releases for sale. It might be a place to check if you were looking for some from last year.

I agree on this. If you are looking for LEs that are sold out at the normal locations, try the resorts.
 
Thanks again! I am going to try several places as more than 30 people have asked for pins! Hope to make some trades in person, that will be a big one for my newbie sister
