Who is your favorite Prince or Lead Male Character? And Why?

I was talking to a friend the other day and we got on the topic of male characters in Disney movies. We were trying to figure out who our absolute favorite is and why.

Personally, my favorite is Prince Beast. I adore him for having a kind heart even though he was consumed with anger and resentment. I also admire him for letting Belle leave in order to find her father. Even though it meant him remaining as a beast for the rest of his life. He sacrificed himself because of the love he had for her. He did not know that she loved him and believed she would never come back. Now that is true love!

He was also dang good looking once transformed back to human. I dig a guy with some hair!

a quite under estimated one - Hercules :)
He was different from the start and didnt know why which lead to everyone hating him. He trained himself up but wasnt his fault Meg was evil! lol

Prince Adam was transformed into The Beast for being spoiled and having no love in his heart . Until he met the beautiful Belle that overtime over saw his Beastly appearance and found the love within him . Love is what saved The Beast from Gastons demise to kill him once Belle declared her love for him . Once again he became Prince Adam .
I also love Gaston . He's my favorite villain and Hot looking too

John Smith :)

My fiancé Matt and I LOVE John Smith and Pocahontas- we're very much like this Prince and Princess in many ways!
He's a European-Australian and I am a Native American (Ok so he wasn't born in england like John Smith, and I'm not a Powhatan-but it's close enough. :))
Even though John Smith is a person killer and he's ignorant for a portion of the movie, he learns to open his mind and his heart, he takes a bullet for the chief, and he'd rather die than not knowing her :)

Flynn is really a close second, though. I think Aladdin only wins because he's got 20 years on his side haha

My four year old is really into Travis from Old Yeller right now. She also likes Ned Land, I think mostly for the red and white shirt.

You didn't say if these were supposed to be animated or real so I'll give you both. My favorite animated male character is Flynn Rider. He somehow manages to convey the funny side of life and I like that. Prince Charming was a very close second because he was the prince of my childhood. My favorite real character would be Captain Jack Sparrow. I have never laughed so hard and his character seems to do everything wrong, but it always turns out right.

Bee yourself, Aladdin. This was my favorite childhood movie, and still is one of my top favorites.

Followed closely by Prince Phillip. He's gorgeous and who wouldn't love a guy that would fight an evil dragon to save them? :) He can sing too!

And this guy deserves to be on here, even if he's not a human. Robin Hood is SO caring and sweet and seems like such a nice guy and gentleman. He's a fox...literally. ;)

Most definitely Jim Hawkins from Treasure Planet!! I absolutely adore the film and I remember when my sister and I went to see it at the cinema we were strangely attracted to his bad boy ways :p

Ya know, he got stolen and you have to be brave in order to survive that kind of thing.

:lol:! That gif almost makes me want to change my vote! Aladdin is definitely a close second for me- I think it's part of the reason I really loved Tangled- the characters remind me so much of the classics, and Rider definitely reminded me of Aladdin ^_^

This is sooo hard for me!

Hercules definitely holds a special place in my heart. His naivete gets me every time. He's such a warm character and his voice is perfect. <3

Naveen may be a smooth-talking womanizer, but he really has a heart of gold. I melt whenever his face lights up when he sees Tiana; you can just see his admiration in those little glances. (Oh, and did I mention that accent? ;))

Eugene (errr...Flynn) had me with his smolder! :D Great-looking, funny, charming...Rapunzel's one lucky gal.


(As a HoND fan, I have also had a secret crush on Phoebus...shhh! ;))

I love Beauty & the Beast, but I like that Snow White and Cinderella's Prince actually sang (other than Aladdin, but he's the lead character in that movie!). :)

Oops, forgot that Beast sang too...
