I would really like to have , but it comes only in the set. Now, I have 3 ways to get my Tink: Trade for it, buy it for a premium on Ebay or somewhere else, buy the whole set and co-op the rest of the pins.
I am not sure which way to go though.

I will be in WDW during release, so I can get the set hopefully. But the rest of the pins are already going to be sold individually on cards, so I don't think anyone woud like to co-op for it really. And since Tink is the completer pin, anyone who buys this set, will be buying it for Tink, so chances of trading for her will be slim. By the same token, Ebay prices might be high.

Any thoughts on this?

Note to Grim: This is not a rant, just asking opinions.;)

Bargain price of $69.99. There are 6 pins in it. You can get all of them, except Tink, as individual pins on the card for $10.95 each.

I guess I have been lucky with the Collector Sets I've gotten. I've liked all of the pins in the sets, so I didin't have to worry about getting rid of the higher edition pins that were also available individually.

On the other hand, you might have some success with trades for the other pins with people who were not able to get either the individual pins or the set. Also, 500 of the 1500 individual 6 pins do go in the sets, so there are only 1000 pins for sale as singles.

You should put a co-op thread up anyway. :) I am sure there are plenty of people that would want a Tink pin, even if it's not the completer.

Yeah, but it is me who wants the Tink and not the rest. I am sure Stitch might go, maybe C&D. Not so sure about the rest though.

It seems like there are a decent amount of people looking for the other pins. Maybe click on the list of people wanting and look for familiar names and ask if they are interested in a co-op that way? Or arrange pre-trades?

I'd just buy the set. Chances are you'd have to pay at least $70 for the Tink individually on eBay anyhow. At least if you buy the set you'll have your Tink pin and a few to trade.

I didn't realize that there were other characters in the set.

I still say put up a co-op thread. And whatever you don't sell use for trade or even pifs.

Thanks for encouragement guys. I will go ahead and start a co-op thread. Let's see if anybody will want them.

Another option for me can be offer the whole set including the box minus Tink for sale, again not sure if that would work though.

I dunno, but I always buy the set keep the completer or whatever it is I want and trade the rest, or break it down to actual price per pin and sell em' off... I said I would do that with my stamps but ended up trading 2 lanyard pins per stamp instead but I did intend to make my money back by selling them at $8 a piece I figured I'd justify the $350 I spent, but I have NO follow through =)
