The flyer pictures don't even come close to doing these pins justice... They have them on display in the store now, and I took some pics of them (iPhone pics, so they aren't perfect...)

Photoshop... :) Takes about 30 minutes per pin to clean them up and crop around the edges. Beloved Tales are easy since Photoshop can actually draw a circle around them and then just crop out the background (just gotta watch for things poking out around the edges). Check PinPics for all the DSF pins that came out yesterday. I've updated all of them except Stitch (not in my possession yet). I did the least amount of work on the Tangled Trader Event pin... With the chains and all I just left a soft shadow around the whole thing... :)

Wow, 30 minutes seems like a lot to me per pin xP I use Paintshop Pro for most of my photoshop things ^_^ You do a much better job though haha xD And now that you got these photos, you don't need to attend the release for photos! (though I don't think you were planning on it anyways).
 
Why do they keep shaving Flynn? Is the beard no longer an effective part of the smoulder? I am dazed and confused here!!

Agree, Flynn looks a bit off (mouth is a bit weird) but at least its a new design of Rapunzel (I think)! :)
 
Yes I asked a worker there during the BT release Thursday night about the missing goatee on Flynn. I was hoping it was a flyer error but the worker didn't notice it either until I pointed it out. It still looks very nice tho :3

And yes I didn't notice he was missing his shirt either until someone just pointed it out.... wth DSF?! :lol:

That is terrible. I seriously wouldn't buy that horrid thing...and if I did I would keep it open at all time.

It looks like they went for a cheaper character artist and then tried to make up for it with the glitz later. Her face is smushed to one side, his mouth is horrible, they're missing iconic parts of his clothes and facial hair!

Bleh.

I love the inside and the idea, but terrible artistry altogether. Wish they just or only had the inner piece as the entire pin ):
 
I have noticed that someone that knows how to draw Tangled characters took a long vacation at Disney and the understudy artist is not quite as skilled....I think Rapunzel looks so cute though! :)

Yeah, I'm kind of a perfectionist (or try to be..). I figure if I'm going to do it, I'm going to once and try to do it well... Then I save the Photoshop file in case I notice something I missed... :p

But, yeah, the time adds up... I photographed 100 marquee pins last weekend (front and back!) and am slowly going through the clean up process. I could just crop them and post them, but I like trying to make them look really nice. I'll still re-photograph these with a real camera if I manage to get them...
