Can someone post an image of the back of these pins? I have not seen one yet.

There is always PP / AP sets of the pins, who know's if those will be released to the public, or sold by a chilly ebay seller. Who knows.

No need for that, seriously. Some of us have friends that were waiting too. Many people made sacrifices for this set. I for one am happy for anyone that got one, and I was before I may or may not have gotten mine. They are just pins, its not worth hurting someone, physically or with words.

Just had to throw this out there. I was bummed when my order got cancelled. But what actually made it easier, which may sound weird since I don't even know you but from reading your posts from the time I've been on here it seems like these pins found a good home and if anyone was able to get them I'm glad you were able to :)

I'm so happy I spent 10+ hours on a sidewalk and didn't get these yet people on their butts on a computer are. Reminds me of the people that waited 3 days for the DSF chocolate boxes and there were 3 people that came at 7am morning of the release and got full sets. Disney Efficiency astounds me again.

It's not Disney's fault that nobody can follow rules. The paper that was sent out with the tickets clearly stated that no one was to line up before 5am of the event day. Yet people started lining up before 9pm the night before. Yes it's Disney's fault for allowing them to stay, but if people would follow the written rules that are given to begin with then things would probably run more smoothly.

Same goes for DSF. They say not to line up before 6am the day of the release, people get in line a week ahead of time. Disney's fault? No, they're not forcing people to get in line days before.

If I were a Sorcerer ticket holder and I paid $1,500+ for my ticket, then yes I expect to have better perks then those that paid only $130 for the weekend. I also believe that the tickets should have been scanned prior to purchasing the pins so that way it could track the sales, and allow only one set per person, and not per day.

I've been frustrated with Disney and the pin releases lately, but I'm also well aware that they are only trying to deal with a constant angry mob of people that apparently didn't learn how to follow rules back from elementary school.

:soapbox: Just my $0.02.

I received my set from Disney today.
A quick question for those who purchased their sets from Disney (either at D23 or DisneyStore.com): Did your set come with a Certificate of Authenticity, the way the first Designer Princess pins and Designer Villains pins did? You can post the answer here, or if you prefer not to have it made public that you acquired a set from Disney, you can send me the answer via PM (if the answer is sent via PM, I won't share your identity).

I'm asking because I purchased a set of these pins on eBay that did not include a certificate (which I found a little odd, I'd have thought the pins would have had one) and I need to know if I need to go back to the seller and inquire about it. Any help would be most appreciated, thanks so much.

The ones at D23 did not have a certificate.

Aw, you are too sweet! Thank you. I'm so happy for anyone that got a set. I hope that others find them soon for decent prices too! :)

So there is a new pattern on the backstamp of a D inside a shield and it runs off the border. Has this been used before, do you think we'll be seing more of these? Is it harder to counterfeit?

Yea it has pins from Disney store locations have this back. The San Francisco pins all have this back

I have to slightly disagree, it is Disney's fault when they do not enforce the rules they set. They make the rules, they are responsible for making sure they are followed. If they did not allow those people who do not follow the rules to still participate that would end very quickly. Maybe 2 releases would be all it took.

It is also Disney's fault for making such low editions in the first place of pins they know will sell.

Disney seems to have a love/hate relationship with pin traders. They love our money, but hate having to deal with us as a collective.

I have to add to this thread. I too, waited up until 3AM East Coast time to try to order one of these sets "just in case" a few of these magically appeared on Disneystore. I had started an order with another pin in hopes that it might give me a jumpstart in placing an order. I refreshed the page and there they were! I put in my order and it was accepted just like so many of you. Now, the only luck I ever have is bad so I never expected anything to ever come of it and found out that only a part order was shipped. Great! The pin I never really wanted was going to show up at my door. It was delivered Friday in one of those ridiculously large boxes that DS ships in. I opened the box to see what it looked like before sending it back and lo and behold it was the Designer Couples Set I was sure I would never, ever see. So add me to the list of sets sent online. I will refrain from comments. I am just so happy to be one of the few that actually went through. Don't know and don't care where that other pin is! Good luck to all.

I never thought to check but no, they charged for both. I had not put in the free ship code in my hurry to get the order in but they did not charge me to send it.:bigthumb:

Thanks Li! As they say, "Better lucky than good".

Wouldn't that have been something insane if they had only charged you for the little pin? Ha! I'm so glad that you got the set though! Truly amazing! :)

Now to bug them for your extra pin ;)

If they can't send me that last pin I'm gonna call them, cancel my whole order and send the Princess pins back to them. They can't treat me like this!

lol and see if you can talk them into the free shipping too. :poke:
