Oh so very excited! :D Can't wait for the catalog. My PhD essay exam is April 21-23, so I'm deeply hoping they don't release it during that time as I'll be in essay jail. XD

That's when finals week is for me too. :anxious: I'm still not 100% certain if I'm able to make it (waiting on a friend to see if she can come with me,) but releasing it during that time would be mayhem. Good luck on your exam!
 
As someone who is new-ish to pin trading and is still building their collection... How "competitive" are these events? I don't have a huge collection so I'd be looking at this as a way to a. build it up a little and b. just see how these things go. I'm sure there are some sharks out there but hopefully some friendly folks too. Advice?
 
It is very friendly and you will be able to build your collection or traders at the trade boards. It is fun but very tiring.
 
The last few years, the catalog got released no more than 24/48 hours before Registration opened. Frustrating for those who need to know before deciding!!

I go for the Event, not the pins being released (there is rarely a Tigger or Cinderella pin). That's why I usually sell my RSP or get sponsored. The best part of any Event is the fellow Pin "nuts" and the trading!!

Looking forward to seeing everyone there and having FUN!!! Might even trade for a Tigger and/or Cinderella pin or 2. :tigger: Sue

O_O Zounds, Halloween in AUGUST? Oh, that's so tempting....I've been really wanting to go to WDW's Halloween event, if only for the Sanderson Sisters!
 
I will say, MNSSHP was probably my favorite event from last year. I went to each twice and thoroughly enjoyed everything, but I think the Halloween one was superior (plus candy!) and had some AWESOME meet and greet opportunities. :3
